Hello, Yes, you can take in the dose of 15ml by adding equal quantity of boiled warm water one hour after your BP medication and nitroglycerin. Take care, Kind regards.
Hello dear, Managing cardiovascular health with both Ayurveda and Allopathy requires careful coordination. While Arjunarishta is a renowned cardiotonic, combining it with potent pharmaceutical agents like blood thinners and nitroglycerin involves significant interactions. Arjunarishta can lower blood pressure. Taking it with antihypertensives may lead to an additive effect, potentially causing hypotension (excessively low blood pressure), dizziness, or fainting. Both nitroglycerin and Arjunarishta can act as vasodilators. Combining them may cause your blood pressure to drop too quickly. In Ayurveda, chronic heart conditions are often viewed as an imbalance of Vyana Vata (the sub-dosha governing circulation) and Hridaya Avalambaka Kapha (which protects the heart). Arjunarishta is used to strengthen the Hridaya (heart) and balance these doshas. However, since you have been taking it for three years alongside intensive allopathic therapy, your body’s “set point” for blood pressure and coagulation is being influenced by both. It is generally not recommended to continue this combination without strict monitoring of your Prothrombin Time (PT/INR) and daily blood pressure readings… You can take further my personal consultation with your current Lipid profile, blood pressure readings and other vital investigations. We will start some Ayurveda Medicines which are safe along with current allopathy meodicne as well as can help to improve current status of pathology.
Hello, Because you take Bp medication + blood thinner + nitogylcerine. I’d be cautious about assuming Arjunarishta is automatically fine long term without review, even though you’ve taken it for 3 years without obvious issues Arjunarishta is traditionally used for heart support, but the biggest issue is combination use, esepcially with -blood pressure medicines -blood thinners -nitroglcerine (important) first tell me which blood thinners you are taking and which bp medicine so that i can help you properly
Arjunarist is strong effective medicine for lowering Blood pressure, also as cardio protector. Being cardio protector,it has the tendency to show blood thinning effect. I would recommend you to go for Arjuna ghanvati dose of 1 , -0-0 after food with water and take alternate day.to prevent any sudden bleeding issues.
