How To Relieve Tension? - #60168
I am dealing with this ongoing issue that I can't shake off, and it's got me really worried. Lately, I have been feeling this crazy stress muscle pain, like it’s everywhere — my neck, shoulders, lower back. I’m not even sure if it’s just stress or if there’s more to it. Some days, it feels like my muscles are just tight all the time. Like, can anxiety seriously cause muscle pain? I can’t figure it out. I have tried stretching and a few yoga moves I found online, but sometimes it feels like nothing helps, and I just end up more tense. A friend said that stress muscle pain can really affect your whole body, and I guess I’m starting to believe it. I have also been having trouble sleeping, and I know stress doesn’t help. But what does muscle pain from stress actually feel like? I mean, I can’t tell if I’m just tired or if this is something I should be more concerned about. Is there a way to release anxiety from the body? Like this tension that just won’t go away? I read somewhere about breathing techniques, but I feel like I need something more. Any suggestions on how to relieve tension would be really appreciated, 'cause I'm at my wits' end here.
