Alright, so skin tags can be quite the nuisance, huh? They’re these little bits of extra skin that can pop up anywhere – especially in areas where there’s friction like underarms and neck. First off, I wouldn’t blame you for trying Thuja and Causticum, both are known in homeopathy for warts and skin issues. Though seems like they didn’t do the trick for you, huh?
In Ayurveda, skin tags are often connected to an imbalance in your kapha dosha. Now fixing this isn’t just a one remedy kinda thing. It’s more of a lifestyle and diet approach too. Here’s a plan you can try tackling. You’d wanna start with trying to balance that Kapha. Avoid foods that contribute to Kapha build up. So like, cut down on dairy, sugars, and very oily stuff. Warming spices like ginger, cinnamon and turmeric can be awesome! Maybe sprinkle a tad extra on your meals.
Externally, you can try an application of castor oil mixed with a pinch of turmeric to the tags. Do this every day before bed – it’s sticky business but if you can bear with it, it may help dry out the tags over time. It’s not overnight magic though, it’d needs patience.
And, oh, some folks find success using a paste of garlic. You could mash it up, apply it to the tag, cover with a bandage and let it sit overnight. But, be careful; garlic can burn your skin if left too long. Don’t leave it more than 40 minutes if you have sensitive skin.
Stress can mess up your doshas too, so chill out with some yoga or meditation. Something like deep breathing, a simple 10 mins a day – can give that mind of yours a little break.
But if none of this helps and they’re still hangin’ around stubbornly, might be smart to eyeball a derm. Sometimes they can remove them fast and safe, especially if they’re in tricky spots.
Sometimes, when the natural way isn’t doing the trick, you might have to think about letting the professionals step in. Take your time and take care!
