Doctors’ responses
hello Kuldeep singh raiswal ,
Aapki problem samajh sakti hoon, ye bahut takleefdeh ho sakti hai jab kabhi baar baar loose motion hota hai aur kabhi bilkul nahi hota, ya fir motion patla ho jata hai. Saath hi pet mein fullness, gas, aur thakan bhi mehsoos hoti hai, jo aapki zindagi par bhi asar dalti hai. Aapne pehle treatment liya hai, lekin fayda nahi hua, toh thoda patience aur sahi approach zaruri hai.
Ayurveda mein ise ‘Grahani Roga’ ya ‘Agni Mandya’ ke roop mein dekha jata hai, jisme aapka pachan (digestion) kamzor ho jata hai, jis wajah se pet mein gas banti hai, aur bowel habits disturbed ho jate hain. Aapka digestive fire (agni) weak hone se khana achhi tarah pachta nahi, jisse toxins (ama) jama ho jata hai, aur yeh symptoms bante hain.
Sabse pehle hum agni ko sudharna zaruri hai taaki digestion strong ho jaye aur pet saaf rahe. Saath hi, pet ki gas aur fullness ko kam karna bhi important hai. Aapka past history mein small intestine ke dilation ki problem rahi hai, toh digestive system ko gently treat karna hoga.
Aapke liye treatment plan:
Pehle 5 din ke liye Shunthi Churna (sukha adrak powder) ¼ chammach garam pani ke saath khane se pehle subah shaam. Yeh apka agni sudharega aur ama ko pachane mein madad karega. Uske baad Bilwadi Churna aadha chammach din mein 2 baar khane ke baad garam pani ke saath. Yeh pet ki gas aur fullness door karega. Kutajghan Vati – 2 goli din mein 2 baar khane ke baad. Yeh loose motion ko control karega aur pet ko majboot banayega.
Din mein halka aur asan bhojan le, jaise ki moong dal khichdi, dahi, aur sabziyan, tel masale se bachkar. Thakan ke liye Ashwagandha 250 mg ek baar raat ko dudh ke saath le sakte hain. Yeh body ko strength dega aur thakan kam karega. Rozana 10-15 minute halka walk karein aur stress kam karne ke liye deep breathing (Nadi Shodhana pranayama) karen.
Kuch test bhi karwane chahiye:
CBC (blood count) Stool routine and culture (agar nahi karaya hai to) Vitamin B12 and D level check karwana achha rahega
Aapke symptoms ko samajhna aur unhe theek karna thoda samay lega, lekin agar aap dhairya rakhen aur treatment regular lein, toh aap apni sehat mein sudhar jarur payenge. Aap akela nahi hain, main aapke saath hoon, koi bhi shak ya samasya ho to poochte rahiye. Aapko behtari ki or badhna hai, bas thoda dhairya chahiye.
Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Your symptoms suggest an imbalance in your digestive system, likely due to an irregularity in your Vata dosha. Vata is responsible for movement, and when it gets aggravated, it can cause unpredictable bowel motions as well as gas and bloating. The first step in Ayurvedic terms is to pacify this dosha and rekindle your agni, or digestive fire.
Start with your diet. Eat warm, cooked meals and avoid raw, cold foods which can aggravate vata. Favor foods like well-cooked rice, warm soups, and stews. Drink warm water throughout the day rather than cold or iced drinks. Add spices like cumin, fennel, and ajwain during cooking to aid digestion.
Avoid fermented foods, dairy, caffeine, and processed items as they can worsen the condition. Keep meal times regular, have your largest meal during lunch when the digestive fire is strong, and avoid eating late at night.
Daily routine matters too. Try abhyanga, a daily oil massage with sesame oil, to calm the vata dosha. It’ll help with circulation and relieve stress. Practicing yoga and pranayama can also stabilize Vata—try asanas like Marjaryasana (Cat Pose) and Balasana (Child’s Pose) for relief.
For acute relief of gas and bloating, take a pinch of hing, mixed with warm water post meals. Also, consider a preparation of 1/4 tsp of ginger powder with honey before meals to aid digestion. If you don’t see improvement, you should consult a professional, as chronic issues may need a more intensive therapy or evaluation.
Remember, it’ll take some time to see full results, but consistency is key to balancing your dosha and alleviating symptoms. If symptoms persist or worsen, a personal consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider is recommended to tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs.
Motion problems like your describe are common and often result from an imbalance in the vata dosha, which governs movement and elimination in the body. The irregular pattern — alternating constipation and diarrhea, with bloating and gas — suggests a vata disturbance in the digestive system. First, focus on stabilizing your agni, the digestive fire. This involves adopting a regular eating schedule, as irregular meals can disturb vata further.
For dietary adjustments, consume warm, cooked foods that are easy to digest. Avoid cold, raw, and processed foods, and minimize your intake of beans and lentils, which can be heavy and create more gas. Adding warming spices like ginger, cumin, and black pepper to your meals can help ignite the digestive fire. Drinking a glass of warm water with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of rock salt in the morning can stimulate digestion.
Herbal remedies like Triphala can aid in regularizing bowel movements. Take 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water before bed.
Incorporating simple self-care practices such as Abhyanga, an oil massage using sesame oil, can help balance vata by providing warmth and grounding. Aim for a stress-free environment and engage in relaxation techniques like Pranayama, focusing on slow, deep breathing, to calm the mind and support digestion.
If symptoms persist, it may be necessary to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can provide further investigation into your specific prakriti and any deeper imbalances. Chronic or severe symptoms may indicate an underlying condition, prioritizing consultation with a healthcare professional for accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment.
