Creatinine with 0.7 indicates that your kidney function is filtrating well and a potassium level of 4.9 is on higher side of normal but not at a point where you need to worry What matters is keeping your hydration diet and mineral balance steady so that stone doesn’t form again And potassium doesn’t drift further Drinking one glass of mosambi juice is generally safe but in some people too much sugary foods can irritate kidney

If you are extracting at home not adding sugars not taking small glass is fine

Your recent experience with kidney stones and current lab results can understandably be a point of concern. Good news is that urea and creatinine levels in your renal function test (RFT) are within normal limits; urea at 15 and creatinine at 0.70 suggests your kidneys are functioning well. The potassium level at 4.9 is on the higher side of normal but generally not alarming.

Mosambi juice, known for its high vitamin C content, is generally beneficial for health, including kidney support, as long as it’s consumed in moderation. It aids hydration and can help support renal function by promoting urine production. Drinking it daily shouldn’t alone lead to kidney damage unless consumed in very large quantities or if you have other underlying conditions. However, it would be wise to ensure balanced hydration without overconsuming citrus juices, which can sometimes elevate potassium levels.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, it’s vital to keep your doshas balanced and maintain strong agni (digestive fire). To support your kidney health further, consider the following:

1. Hydration: Drink warm water regularly through within the day, which can aid in kidney function and prevent recurrence of stones.

2. Diet: Favor light, easily digestible foods. Avoid excessive intake of salt; choose freshly prepared meals with limited processed foods.

3. Herbs: Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) can be helpful for maintaining urinary health; it’s often used for supporting kidney function.

4. Lifestyle: Minimise stress with practices like yoga and meditation.

5. Monitoring: Continue regular check-ups with your healthcare provider to keep an eye on your renal health.

Fear of kidney damage from your current reports seems unnecessary, though continuous monitoring and a balanced lifestyle remain crucial. If anxiety persists, addressing this with your doctor might provide peace of mind. In cases of sudden discomfort, do not delay consulting with a healthcare professional.

While you’ve mentioned the passing of kidney stones and your current lab results indicate your creatinine and urea levels are within normal ranges, it’s understandable to be concerned about potassium levels. Your potassium level at 4.9 mmol/L is on the higher side, but it’s still within normal limits for most labs. Nonetheless, it’s crucial to monitor potassium as significantly high levels could be harmful.

The consumption of mosambi juice—filled with vitamin C and potassium—alone is unlikely to cause kidney failure in someone with normal kidney function. However, it is important to balance dietary potassium intake, especially if there is a risk of kidney function being compromised in the future. Integration of Siddha-Ayurvedic principles into your regimen can provide additional support for your kidney health.

To maintain healthy kidney function, focus on keeping the doshas in balance. Here’s what you might consider: avoid excess salt, maintain a routine with regular sleep and meals, and do gentle exercises or yoga that help in smooth circulation and optimal kidney function. Also, consider herbal detoxifications under professional Ayurvedic supervision. Herbs like punarnava can be useful, as they support kidney health without causing harm. Additioinaly, keep hydrated with warm water; this aids in flushing the kidneys without stress.

In your case, while current readings appear stable, any persistent worry about your health is best discussed with a healthcare professional. Regular monitoring via blood tests at your physician’s advice is prudent. Should there be signs like unexplained fatigue or swelling, seek immediate attention. It’s always best to stay proactive about health matters.
