For managing your conditions of fatty liver and gall bladder enlargement, Ayurveda focuses on balancing the body’s doshas and improving digestion. The liver is a key organ affected by the Pitta dosha, characterized by heat. The symptoms like body heat, insomnia, and eye irritation indicate Pitta imbalance. Start by including bitter and cooling foods, like leafy greens, bitter gourds, and cucumber, to pacify Pitta. Choose cooling herbs like neem and aloe vera. Aloe vera juice taken on an empty stomach in the morning can help reduce heat and support liver health.

Hydration is crucial. Increase intake of cool water, not ice-cold, throughout the day and steep fennel seeds in water overnight to drink in the morning for cooling. Avoid spicy, oily, and processed foods that aggravate Pitta. Ghee, a natural coolant, can be incorporated into your meals.

For your sleep issues, adhere to a calming bedtime routine; consider drinking a cup of warm milk infused with a pinch of turmeric and cardamom. Creating a peaceful environment by avoiding screens and bright lights an hour before sleep can be beneficial.

Regarding your liver health, mild activity like yoga or walking is recommended to stimulate Agni, the digestive fire, without overheating the body. Poses such as Shavasana (Corpse Pose) can promote relaxation and reduce stress.

Prioritize consulting a healthcare professional to evaluate your gallbladder enlargement. If any symptoms are exacerbated or new severe ones develop, this may necessitate urgent medical intervention. Ayurveda offers a supportive role, but professional medical advice is essential for structural or pronounced organ enlargement cases.
