what is fibroid in hindi - #44463

I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and confused with my health lately. I have been experiencing some really uncomfortable symptoms like heavy periods, and sometimes there’s this nagging pain in my lower abdomen. Just the other day, my doctor mentioned something about “fibroids” and I have no idea what that means! Like, what is fibroid in hindi? I tried looking it up, but all the medical terms jumble in my head. I think my aunt went through something similar, and she said fibroids can be pretty common, but it sounds scary. A friend of mine got fibroids too and she had to go for surgery. I’m not ready for that kind of stress!! I read that they can be benign, which is reassuring. But what is fibroid in hindi really, and how serious can they be? Could my diet or lifestyle choices have anything to do with these fibroids? I mean, I do eat a bit of junk food now and then, but I try to balance it with veggies and stuff. I just don’t want to panic over it. Any advice or insights about what is fibroid in hindi and how I can cope or manage this would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

Fibroids, in Hindi, are called “गाठ” (Gaath) or “रसौली” (Rasouli). They are non-cancerous growths, often round or oval in shape found in the uterus. They are indeed quite common among women of reproductive age, and can vary greatly in size. The exact cause isn’t fully understood, but factors such as hormones and genetics may play a role. While it can be distressing, fibroids are usually benign, meaning they are not cancerous.

As you’ve noticed symptoms like heavy periods (menorrhagia) and lower abdominal pain, these are indeed some common indications of fibroids. Although surgery is an option in some severe cases, not every fibroid needs surgical intervention. The choice to proceed with surgery depends on the severity of symptoms and your unique health situation.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, fibroids may be linked to an imbalance in the Kapha dosha, which governs body fluids and structure. A sedentary lifestyle or diet high in oily, heavy, or processed foods could potentially aggravate Kapha, thus influencing the growth of fibroids. To help manage this condition, you might consider a few Ayurveda-inspired adjustments.

Firstly, focus on a Kapha-balancing dietary approach. Emphasize warm, light, and easily digestible foods. Incorporate more fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes while reducing intake of processed and high-fat foods. Favor spices like ginger, turmeric, and cumin which can aid digestion and help balance Kapha.

Secondly, incorporate regular physical activity into your routine to maintain a balanced dosha equilibrium. A brisk walk, or yoga practice tailored to your body’s needs can significantly benefit your overall wellbeing.

Additionally, managing stress through meditation or mindfulness practices can help maintain hormonal balance, potentially easing fibroid development or symptoms. However, it is crucial, essential, to seek professional advise from your healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and tailored treatment plan to address your specific medical scenario. Regular check-ups and discussions with a doctor are important to determine the best approach for your health and peace of mind.
