Hello

I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ can totally understand your concern. It’s quite a reasonable doubt to want to add a liver tablet like Livomyn while managing high sugar levels for a long time. Don’t worry - we are here to guide you 😊

YOUR CONCERN

You suffer from: Sustained high blood sugar, for more than 6 months Currently taking only Ayurvedic medicines for diabetes Sugar levels fluctuate with stress You want to know if Livomyn can be taken safely You are also wondering if Livomyn will “stop sugar” or “not reduce sugar”.

CAN LIVOMYN BE TAKEN WITH AYURVEDIC DIABETES MEDICINES?

👉 Absolutely, Ayurveda medicines and Livomyn can be used together without any risk. There is no interaction that could be detrimental to health. You can take it:

With food

OR

30 minutes after your regular Ayurvedic medicines

It’s safe to take it both ways.

BUT IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND

➡️ Livomyn is not a direct sugar reducer. It is certainly not a diabetes medicine.

As liver-supportive therapy, Livomyn promotes: Good liver function Good metabolism Digestion Helps to lower the side effects of sugar (weakness) that is caused by the high sugarHence, Livomyn is used as a supportive therapy, not as a sugar-lowering medicine.

Your friend will need to keep up with the regular use of Ayurvedic diabetes medicines to control sugar.

INTERNAL MEDICATION (Recommended Support) (If your friend wants better sugar control + liver support)

1.Livomyn – 1-0-1 after food (Supports liver & metabolism)

2.Madhunashini Vati – 1-0-1 (Improves insulin function, reduces sugar)

3.Triphala churna – ½ tsp at bedtime (Improves digestion, helpful for metabolism)

Ashwagandha – ½ tsp at bedtime (Reduces stress-induced sugar spikes)

HOME REMEDIES

–Methi seeds overnight soaked water –1 amla daily –Jamun seed powder ½ tsp daily –20–30 mins walk after dinner –Luke warm water throughout the day

DIET PLAN

INCLUDE

Whole grains (jowar, bajra, oats) Green vegetables Mung dal Buttermilk Amla, guava Small quantity ghee

AVOID

Sweets Bakery items Fruit juices White rice Fried food Excess tea/coffee

LIFESTYLE TIPS

Avoid long gaps between meals 30–40 mins walking daily Deep breathing & Anulom Vilom Sleep by 10:30 pm Reduce mental stress (major trigger for sugar rise)

INVESTIGATIONS

IMPORTANT Fasting & Post-prandial sugar HbA1c Liver Function Test (LFT) Kidney Function Test (KFT)

WHAT TO EXPECT

With the above support:

Sugar levels become more stable Stress-induced spikes will reduce Liver function improves Digestion becomes ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌better

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

YES , Livomyn tabs can be taken safely along with your current Ayurvedic diabetes medicines. There is no interaction – Livomyn is only a liver tonic (Bhumyamalaki, Punarnava, etc.).

Livomyn does not lower blood sugar like BGR-34 or Madhunashini Vati, it protects liver, improves insulin sensitivity, stops sugar spikes after meals → helps keep sugar 15–30 points lower long-term.

Best way to take Livomyn – 1 tab morning + 1 tab night after food Continue your main diabetes medicines unchanged (before or with meals as you’re taking)

Perfect combo for faster sugar control (add these 2 – safe with Livomyn) BGR-34 OR Madhunashini Vati – 2 tab twice daily 30 min before meals Karela + Amla juice – 20 ml + 20 ml morning empty stomach

Hi

Livomyn tablets are an Ayurvedic formulation mainly used for liver support—they help improve digestion, metabolism, and detoxification. They are not directly meant to lower blood sugar.

Key points for your friend: - Livomyn can be taken along with other Ayurvedic medicines for sugar, usually after meals with lukewarm water. - It is safe for liver health but does not stop or reduce blood sugar directly. - For blood sugar management, Ayurvedic medicines like Nishamalaki (Amla + Haridra), Gudmar (Gymnema), Vijaysar, Chandraprabha Vati, or Madhumeha Kusumakar Ras are more traditionally used. - Stress management is very important, since stress itself can raise sugar levels. Practices like Anulom Vilom pranayama, meditation, and light walking help a lot.

Taking Livomyn tablets alongside your Ayurvedic treatment for diabetes is generally considered safe, but it’s essential to know the purpose and ingredients of Livomyn. Livomyn is primarily used for liver support and detoxification; it is an herbal formulation that may not have a direct effect on lowering blood sugar levels. Its key role is in enhancing liver function and metabolism, which could indirectly benefit overall health.

When integrating any ayurvedic products, consistency with your primary treatment is crucial. Livomyn contains herbs like Bhringraj, and Kalmegh which are supportive of liver health, but they don’t possess specific hypoglycemic properties. Therefore, they may not directly reduce high sugar levels but could support your body’s processes otherwise.

Consider when you take these tablets. Ideally, Ayurvedic supplements should be taken according to the type of remedy they are. Liver tonics like Livomyn are generally taken after meals to support digestion, while diabetes-treating herbs may have specific timing guidelines, often before meals to help control sugar spikes. Timing matters, because wrong timing can affect efficacy.

Therefore I recommend discussing with your Ayurvedic practitioner about the combination, as they would have a detailed understanding of your dosha and personal health needs. They may suggest specific regimens or even additional herbal supports better aligned with the diabetes management, considering unique factors like your Prakriti and the doshic imbalance contributing to the high glucose levels.

It’s also important to regularly monitor your blood sugar levels with your treating physician to ensure that any supplementary treatment with Livomyn or any other Ayurveda medication harmonizes well with your main regimen and doesn’t cause imbalances elsewhere.

Livomyn tablets are primarily formulated to support liver health, not directly related to managing blood sugar levels. Since your friend is already on ayurvedic treatment for diabetes, it would be important to consider the effects that Livomyn might have on the treatment overall, especially since Ayurveda emphasizes balance and harmonized action between medicines.

If the Ayurvedic medicines currently prescribed for diabetes don’t specifically address liver function, Livomyn could potentially be complementary. A primary concern is how any new supplement might affect the body’s doshas and overall health balance — especially considering the intricate dynamics of vata, pitta, and kapha involved in both diabetes and liver function.

Here’s a suggestion: Livomyn is generally safe but should ideally be taken in consultation with the Ayurvedic practitioner now managing the diabetes. They can assess whether its ingredients will harmonize with the current treatment or disrupt it. In general, if incorporating it, try taking Livomyn at a different time from other medicines — spacing it at least an hour apart ensures minimal chance of interaction unless your practitioner advises differently.

Monitoring blood sugar levels closely when introducing any new supplement is imperative. If any unusual symptoms or fluctuations in sugar levels occur, it would be prudent to seek a healthcare professional’s guidance immediately. It’s best to keep the treatment holistic yet cautious, aligning with understanding the body’s unique constitution and health needs.
