I am having mild asthma. History of constipation but now it is completely ok, except acidity and gas issues. I feel have heaviness just below the ribs in diaphragm area. This heaviness is even more when I sleep. I feel difficulty in breathing because of this. I tried many things like mahadhanvantran gulika with only mild relief. But when I tried krimi ghanvati this completely solves my problem. However whenever I stop krimighana vati the problem returns immediately. My question is can I use krimi ghanvati for long time. If not what is the solution

Hello, In the Ayurvedic view, your symptoms of mild asthma (Shwasa), upper abdominal heaviness (Anaha/Adhmana), and acidity/gas (Amlapitta) are closely linked through the gastrointestinal tract (Annavaha Srotas). The diaphragm heaviness that worsens when lying down is likely due to upward pressure from trapped gas or weak digestion (Agni), which directly obstructs the downward movement of Vata Dosha (Anulomana), pushing it upward to trigger breathing difficulties. Krimighna Vati is an anti-parasitic formulation. The reason it gives you immediate relief is likely due to its highly potent, hot, and piercing (Teekshna) herbs like Vidanga and Hing. These herbs temporarily stimulate your digestive fire, break down accumulated toxins (Ama), and force trapped gas downward. The Long-Term Use of Krimighna Vati No, you should not use Krimighna Vati for a long time. It is designed for short-term anti-parasitic treatment (typically 7 to 14 days). Because of its highly potent and heating properties, prolonged use can irritate the stomach lining, worsen your existing acidity, exhaust your gut flora, and lead to dependency without curing the root cause of your gas and breathing issues. To fix the root cause, you need to maintain proper Vata movement and strengthen digestion without overheating your system. To clear diaphragm heaviness and gas: Take Dhanwantharam gulika. Since Maha dhanvantaram gave only mild relief, this classic formulation is highly effective at directing Vata downward, relieving sub-diaphragmatic pressure, and easing breathing. Dose: 1 to 2 tablets crushed and mixed with lukewarm water or cumin water, twice daily after food. To address the root of acidity and weak digestion: Take Dadimatadi Kwath (or Dadimatadi Gritham if your acidity is very dry and sharp). This formulation uses pomegranate to balance both Vata and Pitta, improving digestion without creating heat. Dose: 15 ml of Kwath mixed with 45 ml of lukewarm water, twice daily 30 minutes before food. For immediate relief when stopping Krimighna Vati: Keep Hingwashtak Churnam on hand. If gas builds up after stopping the Vati, take a pinch of this powder with your first bite of food with a little ghee. This mimics the gas-relieving properties of Krimighna Vati safely.

Hello, Your symptoms suggest a combination of -mild tamaka shwasa (asthma tendency) -chronic kapha + vata imbalance -amla/adhmana (gas-acidity with upward pressure) -diaphragmatic bloating/reflux like pressure The important clue is -Krimi ghanvati gives strong releif This usually means there may be -ama toxins accumulation -gut fermentation -possible dysbiosis/parasitic tendency -kapha bloackage in GI tract affecting breathing mechanics Because in many people, trapped gas + uper abdominal pressure worsens breathing more than asthma itself Can krimi ghanvati be taken long term Generally not ideal continuously for many months Why?- krimi ghanvati is -stron -drying -krimighna (anti parasitic/anti microbial) Long term overuse may -aggravate vata -dry gut lining -worsen acidity later -weaken digestion in some people Short monitored course is safer Beetter long term startery instead of continuously suppressing symptoms -improve agni -reduce gas formation -clear kapha ama -supports lungs + diaphragm -regulate bowel gut aixs Suggested treatment 1) Krimi ghanvati=.1 tab twice daily after meals for just 4 weeks 2) Avipattikar churna= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime =helps acidity, trapped gas, upward pressure, bowel regulation 3) Agastya haritaki= 1 tsp at night =excellent for mild asthma , diaphragm tightness, chronic kapha vata, constipation tendency very useful in your type of presentation 4) Sitopaladi churna 1/2 tsp with honey twicedaily after meals =helps allrgic tendnecy + airway sensitivity Most important diet advice Your breathing symptoms seems strongly linked with digestion Avoid -curd at night -cold foods -overeating -lying down after meals -bakery foods -excess tea, coffee -fermented heavy meals -late dinners Helpful -warm meals -jeera ajwain water -ginger in moderation -early dinner Important sleeping advise -sleep with slightly elevated head -avoid sleeping immediately after meals Because -reflux + gas pressure near diaphragm commonly mimics asthma worsening at night useful home remedy After meals -warm water + pinch ajwain + small pinch saunf =reduces bloating/pressure Helpful practices -anulom vilom -bhramari -slow walking after meals Avoid forceful kapalbhati if acidity/reflux active Since symptoms worsen lying down consider evaluating for -GERD/reflux -hiatal hernia -food intolerance -H.pylori -chronic sinus/allergy triggers Expected improvement 2-6 weeks -reduced heaviness -easier breathing -less dependence on krimi ghanvati Long term -goal is stable digestion= stable breathing In your case, the asthma may be partly driven by -gut pressure -reflux/gas -kapha ama accumulation That’s likely why krimi ghanvati helps so much But instead of using it indefinitely better to -rebuild digestion -reduce gas formation -supports lungs gently -maintain regular elimination for safer long term control Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

●Krimi Ghanvati Ayurvedic formulation primarily used to treat and manage intestinal worms, parasites, and related digestive issues.Use short period upto 4 to 5 days after that stop krimi ghanvati cause it disturbs stomach and intestinal function and irritation to lining. Im giving some medicines take upto 4 to 5 months. ●Cinnamon + Trikatu Tea - Boil 1 teaspoon cinnamon + 1 teaspoon trikatu (dried ginger, black pepper, long pepper). Cover and let stand for 10 minutes, then add 1 teaspoon honey and drink. • Clears mucus, opens the respiratory tract, and boosts immunity. Use: Consume twice a day. ●Yashtimadhu (Liquorice) + Ginger Tea - Take equal parts of licorice and dried ginger (1/2 teaspoon each), boil them in a cup of water and make a tea. Liquorice soothes inflammation of the respiratory tract. Ginger improves digestion and lung circulation. Usage: 1-2 times daily. ●Sesame + figs + honey 4/6 - Mix 1⁄2 teaspoon tea leaves + 1 teaspoon figs, 1 teaspoon honey. • Clears phlegm and mucus, strengthens lungs. Experimentation 2-3 times per day. ●Shitophaladi churna + talisadi churna +honey take 1 teaspoon each , mix well and lick it 3 to 4 times a day. ●Praanrakshak Churna – 1 teaspoonful twice daily with warm water after meals. ●Tulsi Capsules – 2 capsules twice daily with warm water after meals ●Do Pranayama-•Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing)•Bhramari Pranayama (Humming Bee Breath)•Diaphragmatic Breathing (Deep Belly Breathing) ✅️Well-Cooked Grains: Aged rice, lightweight millets, or well-cooked quinoa are gentle on the abdomen.Lean, Soupy Proteins: Split moong dal (mung bean) soup or light lentil stews are incredibly easy on a dysfunctional digestive system while providing necessary protein.Steamed Vegetables: Gourd vegetables (bottle gourd, ridge gourd, ash gourd), carrots, and pumpkin are highly digestible and rich in antioxidants that support lung health 🚫Avoid Citrus Fruits & Juices: Oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits can highly irritate a sensitive stomach lining and worsen acid reflux.Tomatoes and Tomato-Based Sauces: Highly acidic and a major contributor to heartburn and gastric discomfort.Carbonated Beverages: Sodas, sparkling water, and fizzy drinks introduce excess air into the digestive tract, causing immediate abdominal distension and forcing the diaphragm upward, which restricts deep breathing.Caffeine & Exce, Chocolate: Coffee, strong black teas,Ice-Cold Foods & Drinks: Ice cream, iced water, and chilled desserts constrict the blood vessels in the gut (slowing digestion) and can cause sudden reflex cooling of the airways, triggering an asthma cough.Heavy, Cold Dairy (Especially at Night): Thick yogurts, curd, heavy cream, and paneer eaten late in the day can increase mucus production and cause sluggish, overnight digestion. (Note: Warm, spiced milk or a splash of fresh buttermilk during the day is generally better tolerated).Refined Flours (Maida): White bread, pastries, biscuits, and fast food turn into a sticky, heavy mass in the digestive tract, leading to constipation and abdominal discomfort.

The symptoms you describe — heaviness below the ribs, bloating, acidity, pressure while lying down, and breathing difficulty — suggest a strong connection between Ama (toxins), Kapha accumulation, disturbed Vata in the abdomen, and weak Agni (digestive fire). In Ayurveda, many asthma-like symptoms begin from the stomach and gut region, especially when gas and Kapha obstruct the chest area. Krimi Ghanvati may be helping because it reduces Ama, intestinal toxins, gas formation, and hidden microbial imbalance, which indirectly relieves pressure on the diaphragm and improves breathing. That is why you feel immediate relief. However, using Krimi Ghanvati continuously for a very long period is usually not advised… because it is a strong cleansing medicine and prolonged use may aggravate Pitta or dryness in some individuals. A better Ayurvedic approach is: Correct the root digestive imbalance and gas formation. Reduce Kapha-Ama accumulation in the upper abdomen. Improve downward movement of Vata. Support lung function gently. Mild deepana-pachana medicines for digestion Regular Vata-Kapha balancing treatment Herbs like Haritaki, Sitopaladi, Yashtimadhu, or mild Hing-based formulations depending on your prakriti Light dinner and avoiding sleeping immediately after meals Avoiding curd at night, cold foods, excess tea, bakery items, and heavy dinner Helpful daily habits: Warm water sipping throughout the day Early light dinner Gentle walking after meals Steam inhalation with ajwain occasionally Sleeping with slightly elevated head position Since your symptoms worsen while lying down, acidity and upward-moving Vata may also be contributing significantly. So treating only asthma may not fully solve the issue unless digestion is corrected deeply.

6.7 mm stone kabhi-kabhi bina operation bhi nikal sakta hai, especially agar pain mild hai aur urine blockage/infection severe nahi hai. Lekin fever ko ignore na karein. Pani zyada piyen (3–4 litre/day if tolerated), urine ko rok kar na rakhein, aur daily halka walk karein. Coconut water aur barley water helpful rahenge. Medicines: Pattharchatta swaras – 15 ml twice daily Gokshuradi guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Chandraprabha vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Neeri syrup – 15 ml twice daily Avoid: Excess salt, soft drinks, packaged foods Dehydration Agar severe pain, vomiting, urine blockage, ya fever increase ho to immediately urologist ko dikhayein. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
