In Ayurveda, the concept is all about balance—balancing your doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and maintaining your energy reserves or ojas. From this viewpoint, excessive masturbation might be depleting your ojas, which is that vital energy connected to immunity and vitality. So, if you feel fatigue or hormonal imbalances, it might be linked to overindulgence. But it’s crucial to remember what “excessive” means varies per person.

Regarding health myths, concerns about erectile dysfunction or anxiety from masturbation are mostly exaggerated or misunderstood.
