No—this is not safe. Calotropis procera (Arka) is a toxic herb. Its milk sap (latex) is strongly irritant and poisonous if taken internally. Consuming it—even in small amounts with jaggery—can cause burning, vomiting, heart stress, and serious toxicity. It is never advised for internal use in such crude form. Your symptoms (mild ED + premature ejaculation + fatigue) are usually due to Vata imbalance and Dhatu kshaya (tissue weakness)—not something treated with toxic substances. The plant is a posinous plant and cannot be used for external application. Rather go for the following treatment. Diet and Nutrition 1. Balanced diet: Focus on whole, unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. 2. Foods rich in antioxidants: Include foods high in antioxidants like berries, leafy greens, and nuts to help reduce oxidative stress. 3. Hello, The use of Calotropis procera (Arka) milk sap (latex) is a subject of significant caution in Ayurveda due to its classification as a Upavisha (semi-poisonous substance). ​ ​Arka latex is highly caustic and toxic. While traditional texts do mention its use for various ailments after rigorous purification (Shodhana), it is not safe for self-administration, especially for sensitive conditions like erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. ​ Even a single drop of raw latex can cause severe gastric irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, and, in some cases, cardiac complications. ​ It is extremely dangerous if it touches the eyes, potentially causing permanent vision loss. ​ Using raw latex internally without expert supervision and precise processing is considered hazardous and is generally discouraged in modern Ayurvedic practice for these specific indications. ​ ​For the management of male sexual health (Vajikarana), it is safer to use standardized, non-toxic formulations that nourish the Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue). ​1. Mahakalpa Vigora Jelly ​Action: A potent rejuvenator and aphrodisiac that helps improve stamina and vitality. ​Dose: 1 teaspoon (approx. 10–15g) twice daily after food with warm milk. ​2. Ashwagandhadi Lehyam ​Action: Helps reduce performance anxiety (a common cause of premature ejaculation) and improves physical strength. ​Dose: 10g to 20g twice daily, followed by a cup of warm milk. ​3.
