For long-term mild constipation with acidity after piles recovery, the gentlest Ayurvedic option is usually Triphala with ghee or warm water. It helps soften stool without strong purgation in many people Take Triphala churna 3–5 grams at bedtime with warm water or warm milk If acidity is more, take with 1 tsp cow ghee. If stool is very hard: Gandharvahastadi Erand Taila 1–2 tsp in warm milk at night, only when needed. For acidity + constipation together: Avipattikar churna 3 grams after dinner with lukewarm water. Diet Drink warm water through day Avoid tea/coffee on empty stomach Avoid very spicy, dry, bakery foods Add soaked black raisins or 1 tsp ghee in lunch

Hello, You can take triphala which is mild laxative and also a rasayana(rejuvenates); it do not have any side effects If it is in tablet form you can take 2 tablets at bedtime with a cup of warm water. If you are opting for powder form you can take 1 tea spoon at bed time with a cup of boiled warm water. For acidity- 1. Yashtimadhu milk decoction in the empty stomach Method of preparation: 1 cup of milk+2 cups of water+one teaspoon of yashtimadhu powder; boil to reduce to one cup.strain and remove the powder;drink this milk tea everyday. This is also devoid of any side effect. For few days, till you get adjusted you feel a kind of nausea. Take care, Kind regards.

Recovering from piles requires that bowel movements are effortless, as straining or passing hard stools can re-aggravate the healing tissues. 👇👇👇👇👇👇 Chronic constipation and acidity is due to an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas, compounded by a weak digestive fire. 👇👇👇👇👇 1) Avipattikar churna- 3 g twice a day 30 minute before meal with lukewarm water 2) isabgol Or triphala churna- 1-2 tsp at bed time with lukewarm water or warm milk 3) abhayarishta- 15 ml with an equal quantity of water after lunch and dinner with lukewarm water 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Consume at least 2.5 to 3 liters of warm or room-temperature water daily. Avoid ice-cold water, as it slows down digestion. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Include naturally lubricating and fiber-rich foods like papaya, ripe bananas, soaked figs (Anjeer), raisins (Munakka), and cooked vegetables (bottle gourd, ridge gourd). 👇👇👇👇👇👇 Add a teaspoon of pure A2 cow’s ghee to your warm milk at night or mix it into your daal/rice. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Avoid: Strictly limit deep-fried, highly spiced foods, pickles, excess tea/coffee, maida (refined flour), and heavy-to-digest meats. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Do not ignore or delay the urge to pass stools , as this dries out the fecal matter further. Avoid spending excessive time on the toilet seat or straining during a bowel movement. Consider a warm Sitz Bath (sitting in a tub of warm water with a pinch of Alum or Triphala decoction) for 10-15 minutes daily to soothe the anal sphincter muscles and accelerate healing.

Hello, In Ayurveda, piles (Arsha), constipation (Vibandha), and acidity (Amlapitta) are closely linked, primarily caused by an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas. Aggravated Vata dries up the stool, while increased Pitta triggers acidity and inflammation in the anal canal. To break this cycle, the ideal approach requires a Mridu Virechana (mild, non-habit-forming laxative) that has Anulomana properties (correcting the downward flow of Vata) and a Sheeta Virya (cooling potency) to soothe acidity and protect the healing piles tissue from irritation. Ayurveda Medicine & Dosage 1. Triphala Sparkles (Effervescent Tablets) Why it works: A modern, fizzy twist on classic Triphala. It balances all three doshas, acts as a gentle bowel regulator, rejuvenates the gut lining, and does not cause stomach griping. Dosage: Drop 1 tablet into a glass of lukewarm water, let it dissolve completely, and drink it at bedtime. 2. Abhayarishtam Why it works: The definitive Ayurvedic fermented formulation for piles and constipation. Its primary ingredient, Abhaya (Haritaki), is naturally healing for hemorrhoids, softens the stool, and simultaneously improves digestion to reduce acidity. Dosage: Take 15 to 25 ml with an equal quantity of lukewarm water, twice daily after meals. 3. Avipathi churna: Take 1 spoon of this powder before every meal, With normal water. Then take your meal after 15 minutes. It can regulate your acidity and also have mild laxative effect.

For long-term use in piles + constipation, the goal is soft, easy stool without irritation or urgency. Best gentle options: Triphala churna – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water Isabgol (psyllium husk) – 1–2 teaspoons in warm water after dinner Avipattikar tablet – 1–2 tablets after food if acidity is present Warm water intake throughout the day (very important) Support tips: Do not strain during passing stool Increase fiber (fruits, vegetables, oats) Avoid spicy, fried, and very sour foods This combination is usually safe for long-term use if tolerated well. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)

When you have piles, the goal is to keep the stool soft so it doesn’t cause friction or bleeding during a bowel movement. However, conventional strong laxatives or even some herbs (like Senna or Trivrit) can be harsh, cause stomach cramping, and worsen your acidity because they increase Pitta (heat) in the gut. In Ayurveda, we want to pacify both Vata (which causes dryness and constipation) and Pitta (which causes acidity and inflammation in the hemorrhoids) without irritating the mucosal lining. Here are the safest, mildest Ayurvedic remedies that are safe for long-term use, won’t upset your stomach, and will actually help soothe your acidity. 1.Gandharva Haritaki While regular Haritaki can sometimes be a bit drying, Gandharva Haritaki is processed with castor oil (Eranda taila). Why it works for you: The castor oil processing neutralizes the harshness, making it an excellent, non-habit-forming Anulomana (mild laxative that directs the downward flow of energy). It clears the bowels without causing griping pain or acidity. How to take it: 1/2 tsf with warm water at bedtime. 2. Avipattikar Churna (If Acidity is Your Main Complaint) If your constipation is being driven by severe acid reflux and indigestion, this is the classic Ayurvedic formulation of choice. Why it works for you: It is specifically designed to reduce excess Pitta (acidity) while acting as a very gentle, natural laxative to clear the bowels. How to take it: 1 teaspoon with warm water before meals or at bedtime. ••What to Avoid Right Now •Triphala Churna (Temporarily): While Triphala is famous, the Amalaki in it can sometimes trigger mild reflux in hyperacidic patients, and Haritaki on its own can be slightly scraping (Lekhana), which might irritate healing piles if taken in large doses. Stick to the options above first. ••Spices and Nightshades: Avoid red chilies, garam masala, tomatoes, and excess salt, as they will flame both your acidity and your hemorrhoids.

Hello, Yes- after piles/fissure recovery, the best long term approach is a gentle stool softener + digestion correction, not strong purgatives. Repeated hard stools and straining can re trigger piles, while overly strong laxatives may worsen acidity, gas, or dependency Best Mild Ayurvedic options for long term use 1) Triphala churna= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water =softens stool naturally, reduces constipation tendency, mild detox, usualy safe long term in proper dose 2) Haritaki churna= 1/2 tsp with warm water at night =very useful when constipation + gas, incomplete evacuation, vata tendency 3) Isabgol= 1 tsp in warm water at night =one of the safest long term stool softner one of the best after piles recovery If acidity is also present 1) Avipattikar churna= 1/2 tsp with warm water after dinner =reduces acidity, supports bowel movement gently Avoid long term overuse of -strong senna based laxatives daily -castor oil daily -harsh purgatives tablets -frequent enemas Because they may -weaken natural bowel movement -irritates intestines -worsen dependency Diet- very important -warm water morning -cooked vegetables -soaked black raisins -papaya -ghee 1-2 tsp/day -fiber + hydration Reduce -very spicy food -excess tea, coffee -bakery/refined flour -long fasting -eating late at night Toilet habits -never suppress urge -fixed timing morning -avoid excessive straining -short walk after meals helps greatly Helpful lifestyle For constipation + acidity -regular sleep -stress reduction -vajrasana after meals -walking 20-30 min/day This plan often maintains soft daily stool without stomach irritation Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

Hello dear… Taking any type of laxative on a long run harms your gut and body than benefits. Rather you should focus on little diet and lifestyle related changes. Because most laxative medicine or formula forces digested or indigested to come out which leads to insufficient absorption of nutrients from food. May lead to weakness, weight loss, hair fall etc issues. So if possible avoid it. I am suggesting you some tips which will help you in constipation and even in piles. Take 15-20 soaked raisins in morning first, after half an hour you can take your breakfast. Avoid excess tea/ coffee. Try to take warm, freshly prepared home based food, avoid spicy, processed, staple, refrigerated food, curd, chips etc packaged items, cold drinks and chilled water. Avoid eating full stomach and avoid too much drinking water after meal. Walk 200 steps after each meal and avoid late night dinner. Try to take 2-3 spoon per day of pure A2 cow ghee in your meal. Try to do yogasanas which help you in constipation. Movement is very important. Ensure sufficient water intake and fibre intake. Avoid sprouts or raw vegetables-it should be boiled or sautéed. And more factors which may lead to constipation e.g too much travelling, too much physical or mental stress, night awakening- all these leads to vayu aggravation according to Ayurveda which hardens the stool and causes dryness in body and in gut.

I can understand, but when gut is disturbed, mind will also suffer indirectly and vice a versa. So try to follow routine which i have suggested, and always schedule your routine according to natural circadian rhythm. Body and hormones works naturally according to circadian rhythm. That means eating, sleeping, working on time is very important. Other than that always try to learn new things, takes help of yoga pranayam, but don’t try to suppress your anxiety.

As you are recovering from piles , medication needs to be gentle which helps easy evacuation of stool as well as should not irritate canal lining , you can take 1. Abhyarishta 4tsp bd with equal amt warm water . Or 2. Avipattikar churna serves as good stool softner and anulomana in nature . Take 5 gm at night with warm water . As u have mentioned you are recovering from piles so along with these you should also take gandhak rasayana 1 tid before food. It aid in healing and reduces chances for further damage to tissue.
