In Ayurveda, syphilis can be correlated with “Firanga Roga,” a condition caused by aggravated doshas, particularly Pitta and Vata, leading to symptoms similar to syphilis, such as skin lesions, fever, and ulcers. Get yourself examined by a local Ayurveda expert who can definitely help you in reducing symptoms with both oral medication and internal treatment. In the meanwhile, reduce fermented , oily spicy, sour and salty, especially Pitta aggravating foods. Eat foods which are bitter and cooling in nature like cucumber, coriander, fennel, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, pointed & sponge gourds etc. Stop eating, chilli, pepper, garlic, et cetera. Wash the affected area with Neem decoction. Have Syp Mahamanjishthadi 20 ml twice daily with 20 ml water. Have Cap Guduchi thrice after meals.

Since your VDRL and TPHA tests have confirmed syphilis, it’s essential to continue with the antibiotic treatment prescribed by your allopathic doctor, as syphilis must be treated with antibiotics like penicillin to prevent complications. From an Ayurvedic perspective, alongside the medical treatment, you can incorporate supportive measures to balance the body and promote healing. Syphilis disrupts Rakta (blood) and Pitta dosha, leading to inflammation and skin issues like the pain and pimples you are experiencing in your genital area. Ayurvedic remedies such as Mahamanjisthadi Kashaya for blood purification, Gandhaka Rasayana to clear infections, Chandraprabha Vati for urogenital health, and Triphala Guggulu for detoxification can support your recovery. Applying Neem oil externally can help reduce irritation and inflammation. Along with these remedies, following a Pitta-pacifying diet that avoids spicy, oily, and processed foods while focusing on cooling, anti-inflammatory foods will be beneficial. It is also important to maintain genital hygiene and avoid sexual activity until you are fully treated, as syphilis is highly contagious.

Hey there, I understand this is totally worrying for you. Getting a positive result for VDRL and TPHA indicative of syphilis is indeed a serious matter. First thing I’d strongly recommend is seeking immediate medical attention from a healthcare professional. Syphilis requires timely care, usually with antibiotics like penicillin, to prevent complications. Ayurveda can complement conventional treatment but should never replace it, especially in such cases.

Now, while you’re in contact with your healthcare provider, here’s how Ayurvedic wisdom can support your wellness journey. Syphilis involves vitiation of the moveable Vata dosha and possibly Pitta, leading to impurities in the blood (Rakta Dhatu). Focus on activities that pacify these doshas.

Start with diet, opting for foods that are cooling and calming. Think mung dal, rice, and boiled vegetables. Avoid spicy, sour, and oily foods as they aggravate pitta and vata. Hydration is key, drink plenty of water and herbal teas like coriander tea, which is soothing. Rest is crucial too, so prioritize sleep to support your immune system.

Incorporate neem, known for its antibacterial properties, into your routine. Bathe with neem water occasionally but consult your doctor first about any herbal supplement. Curcumin, the active component of turmeric, is another option due to its powerful anti-inflammatory effects. A pinch of turmeric daily in warm water can be helpful.

Don’t forget stress has a big role to play – practice gentle yoga or meditation to calm the mind and promote overall healing. Remember to communicate with your doctor about any symptoms and treatment you’re exploring. Safety first, always! Reach out if you have more questions, and take care.
