To address the issues you’ve mentioned, a holistic Ayurvedic approach can help in managing acid reflux and related symptoms. The first key aspect is understanding your digestive fire or ‘Agni’ which might have been disrupted by changes in your eating habits through intermittent fasting. According to Ayurveda, when Agni is disturbed, it could lead to issues like nausea, belching, and irregular bowel movements.

Begin by incorporating warm, cooked foods into your diet to rekindle Agni. Avoid raw, cold, or overly spicy foods as they can aggravate the condition. Include ginger tea to help soothe your stomach and aid digestion. You can prepare it by boiling fresh ginger slices in water – sip it throughout the day especially before meals.

Eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of large meals which can overwhelm the digestion. Chew your food slowly and eat in a relaxed environment as stress while eating can worsen your symptoms.

Consider Triphala, a well-known Ayurvedic formulation, for gentle detoxification and to support bowel health. Take it in the form of a powder or tablet before bed with warm water. It’s essential to maintain hydration, but avoid drinking large amounts of water during meals as it can dilute digestive juices.

Include buttermilk in your diet with a pinch of roasted cumin powder. It’s effective for settling the stomach and reducing acidity. Practicing yoga and pranayama such as deep breathing exercises can help reduce stress and support digestion.

If symptoms persist or make you uncomfortable, seeking guidance from a healthcare professional will be advisable. This will help ensure there’s no underlying condition that requires more attention. Following Ayurvedic principles along with a balanced lifestyle often helps, but persistent or severe symptoms should always be assessed by a physician.
