The symptoms you’re experiencing—cold hands and feet, dull eyes, and weak nerves—suggest a potential Vata dosha imbalance. In Ayurveda, cold extremities are often related to poor circulation, which can be aggravated by Vata’s qualities of dryness and lightness. A dull appearance in the eyes and feelings of restlessness can also be related to Vata disturbances.

To address these issues, focus on grounding and balancing Vata. Begin with dietary adjustments: incorporate warm, nourishing, and oily foods into your meals. Foods like cooked whole grains, root vegetables, and nuts, and seeds are ideal. Consider adding warming spices like ginger, cumin, and cinnamon, which enhance circulation and digestion.

Hydration is essential but opt for warm or room temperature drinks instead of cold. Tea made from ginger or cardamom can help stimulate digestion and circulation.

Prioritize regularity in your day-to-day activities, as Vata benefits greatly from routine. Aim to have meals at the same time daily and go to bed early, waking up at the same time each day too. Gentle exercises such as yoga or tai chi can aid in calming your mind while promoting better circulation and nerve function.

For direct application, consider oil massages (Abhyanga) with sesame or almond oil. These oils have warming properties that penetrate deeply, nourishing the dhatus and aiding circulation. After a warm bath or shower, massage in circular motions towards the heart, once a day if possible.

To calm the mind, practice breathing exercises like Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) for its calming and balancing effects on the nervous system.

Finally, it’s crucial to monitor these symptoms and, if they worsen or persist, seeking medical attention from a professional should be your priority. While Ayurveda provides supportive measures, it shouldn’t replace immediate medical care where necessary.
