Firstly, you should avoid drinking water immediately after meals. Secondly, I recommend a simple home remedy: **100g roasted jeera + 100g roasted saunf + 100g mishri** (mix and consume as needed). take it just after food If you would like a customized diet plan, I will be happy to recommend one for you.

Usman, since you have been experiencing stomach problems for the last three months, along with bloating, lower stomach pain (shifting sides), back pain, weakness, and weight loss (70 kg to 63 kg), it could be due to: 1. Chronic Gastritis or Ulcers (caused by H. pylori infection or excess acidity) 2. IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) 3. Liver or Gallbladder Issues (due to poor digestion of fats) 4. Malabsorption or Nutrient Deficiency (leading to weight loss and weakness) 1. Ayurvedic Treatment for Stomach Healing Morning Remedy (Drink on an Empty Stomach) • 1 glass lukewarm water + ½ tsp jeera (cumin) powder + ½ tsp saunf (fennel) powder 👉 This reduces bloating, improves digestion, and soothes the stomach lining. Healing Drink Before Meals • 1 tsp fresh aloe vera juice + 1 tsp giloy juice + ½ tsp honey For Immediate Relief from Gas & Pain •pinch of hing (asafoetida) + 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds) + ½ tsp black salt Mix with warm water and drink after meals. Foods to Eat: • Soft, easy-to-digest foods – Khichdi, dal, curd rice, moong dal soup • Banana, boiled apple, papaya – Heal stomach lining • Coconut water – Natural electrolyte to reduce weakness • Soaked almonds & walnuts – Help in weight gain • Ghee & homemade butter – Strengthen digestion Avoid These: • Spicy, fried, junk food, tea, coffee • Milk (try curd instead) • Overeating at once (eat small meals) 3. Lifestyle Changes for Fast Recovery Eat slowly & chew food properly – Helps digestion Sit in Vajrasana for 5 minutes after meals – Prevents bloating Daily walk for 20 minutes – Improves metabolism If symptoms don’t improve in 2-3 weeks, you may need a stool test (for H. pylori or infection), ultrasound (for liver/gallbladder issues), and vitamin deficiency check. Let me know if you need a more specific diet plan!

Hi Usman, Thank you for the details. Can you tell me if the pain and bloating occur after specific types of food or at certain times of the day? Also, do you experience any nausea, acid reflux, or changes in your bowel movements? These signs can help identify whether it's related to digestive imbalances or another underlying issue.

When dealing with persistent stomach problems, Ayurveda considers the imbalances in your doshas, particularly the Vata and Pitta doshas, which may be influencing symptoms like bloating, pain, and weight loss. The digestive fire, or 'Agni', might be weak, leading to improper digestion and absorption of nutrients. We need to take steps to strengthen your Agni while calming any doshic imbalances. Start with your diet. Opt for warm, cooked foods that are easy to digest. Simple items like rice porridge or kichadi can be quite nourishing. Avoid raw foods, especially salads, cold drinks, and leftovers. Incorporating spices like cumin, coriander, fennel, and ginger can help improve digestion and alleviate bloating. Ginger tea or warm water with a splash of lemon and honey can also stimulate your digestive fire. Eating at regular intervals, maintaining a consistent meal schedule, and allowing enough time for digestion before and after meals can support your body's natural rhythms. Try to avoid eating in a rush; take it slowly appreciating your meal. Chewing your food thoroughly helps initiate the digestive process. To address bloating and gas, try taking a small amount of hing (asafoetida) with warm water before meals. Gentle yoga poses like Pavanamuktasana and twists can help relieve bloating and gas. Lie on the floor, bring your knees close to your chest and hold for a minute. Incorporating practices like Abhyanga (self-massage with warm sesame oil) can balance Vata and improve circulation. End your day with a glass of warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg to aid restful sleep and calm the nervous system. If symptoms persist or worsen, it's crucial to seek immediate medical evaluation to exclude underlying conditions like ulcers or infections, especially considering your weight loss and weakness. Don't delay in consulting a healthcare professional who can provide the necessary tests and interventions.
