Dr. Isha Bhardwaj
Until 11 March 2025, I worked with Kbir Wellness as an Ayurvedic consultant, and now I’m looking to begin offering online consultations.
Doctor information
Experience:
7 years
Education:
Lal bahadur shastri mahila ayurvedic college and hospital bilaspur, yamunanagar
Academic degree:
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
Area of specialization:
I am mostly working with digestion-related stuff lately, kind of on autopilot now when someone comes in saying—bloating, burning in chest, that whole uneasy gut feeling or they just don’t feel “clean” after motion. Hyperacidity, loose stools, constipation, that weird combo where nothing's regular but nothing feels too serious either... I see this pattern a lot. My work focuses on Ayurvedic management of digestive and metabolic issues but not just that—menstrual imbalances too. Delayed periods, light flow, cycle just going off sometimes—those are pretty common in the women who consult me. I usually start with a detailed dosha-based evaluation, check prakriti-vikriti, daily habits, how they eat, what time, even moods. Most times, even the smallest correction in ahar-vihar helps shift things. I don’t give too many meds if it can be fixed with seasonal routines & food swaps. My treatment plans are pretty chill but focused—herbal formulations (not too bitter, don’t worry), easy lifestyle edits, and reminders that healing takes time. And I also take basic fevers, colds, productive or dry coughs, and in early diabetic signs too—like mild fatigue after food or heaviness in limbs, just before it gets into full-blown sugar issues. The aim is not just “fixing” something and moving on. I want ppl to understand why their body is reacting and how to support it daily. Ayurveda should feel approachable not complicated science. That’s the whole point, right? Making healing a daily thing, not a last resort.
Achievements:
I am honestly most proud of how I’ve stayed connected to underserved folks, like actually showing up where care doesn’t always reach easy. Working with low-income communities—it changed the way I see healing. You can’t just hand herbs n say “take this.” I had to listen better, build trust from zero, and yeah sometimes that means sitting thru stories you didn’t expect. Providing Ayurvedic care in these setups wasn’t just about medicine, it was awareness too—like helping ppl see their health in a new way. Small wins started adding up—someone sleeps better, someone’s joint pain less now, someone understood why food matters. That stuff sticks. It’s not always dramatic, but it’s real. That whole experiance shaped the way I treat everyone now—clear, patient-first, no judgement, no shortcuts. Just showing up where it counts.

I am someone who kinda learned early that medicine isn’t just about protocols or pills—like, it’s more about people, right? I did my BAMS with proper grounding in both classical Ayurveda and also the basics of modern med, which honestly helped me see both sides better. During internship, I got to work 6 months at Civil Hospital Sonipat—very clinical, very fast paced—and the other 6 at our own Ayurvedic hospital in the college. That mix showed me how blending traditional and integrative care isn't just theory, it actually works with real patients. After that I joined Kbir Wellness, an Ayurvedic aushdhalaya setup, where I dived into Naadi Pariksha—like really deep. It’s weird how much you can tell from pulse if you just listen right?? Doing regular consultations there sharpened my sense of prakriti, vikriti and how doshas show up subtle first. I used classical Ayurvedic texts to shape treatment plans, but always kept the patient’s routine, mental space and capacity in mind. Also I was part of some health camps around Karnal and Panipat—especially in govt schools and remote areas. That part really stays with me. You get to help ppl who dont usually have access to consistent care, and you start valuing simple awareness more than anything. I kinda think prevention should be a bigger focus in Ayurveda, like we keep talking about root cause but don’t always reach people before it gets worse. My whole method is pretty much built around that—root-cause treatment, yes, but also guiding patients on how to live with their body instead of fighting symptoms all the time. I rely a lot on traditional diagnostics like Naadi, but I mix that with practical therapies they can actually follow. No point in giving hard-to-do regimens if someone’s already overwhelmed. I keep it flexible. Most of my plans include dietary changes, natural formulations, lifestyle corrections and sometimes breathwork, daily rhythms and all that. I’m not here to just “treat illness”—what I really aim for is helping someone feel like they’ve got a handle on their own health again. That shift from just surviving to kinda thriving... that’s what I look for in every case.
