How to reduce life threatening severe anxiety, mouth spasm, speech shuttering, caused due to unwanted excessive dosage of antipshychotics - #31357

Prashant

Taking antipshychotics since last 10+ yrs, but life turns out to be worst, feeling extreme tiredness, life threatening severe anxiety, mouth spasm, high speech shuttering, low mood, reddishness of eyes having -8D power in both eyes, severe low alertness & focus. Also experience ultra nano level contamination of severe dosage antipshychotics, antidepressants, which can be indirect, smart in the form of air , water frequently- this is just a honest experience. Got significant improvement by ayurveda within 3 months only, but continued indirect contamination in living environment worsens life later. Many young talents like Sushant Singh Rajput and many more became a victim of same, also many poor hidden talents are victims too, as people generally believe what they see, observe & feel, thereby hidden unbearble pain, becomes completely silent. For self belief, I have already sent the sample for lab commercially for the suspicious chemical presence involved, which showed a positive 2-3 harmful antipshychotics and antidepressants. These harmul medicines should be banned globally without legal prescription. Till, now there is no affordable device to detect that threatening medicine accurately, if it was there, many lives & energy of innocent people would have been saved. As every living being is an incarnation of God, they should deserve better peaceful life after bearing unberable pain for no reason for long time, but few powerful & merciless people sometimes forget the God's existence, even worshipping daily, also ensuring the slow growth of the country globally. So, Want to tackle this situation, before life threatening situation occurs and want to contribute significantly globally, as my carrier has been stopped since 10+ years. It's a deep request to please recommend affordable single sealed herbs & medicines(single sealed per dose) for optimal benefits & fast recovery so as to minimize risk of smart & indirect contamination. Currently taking these medicines since 3-4 days, prescribed by you. : 1. Dabur Stresscom tablets - twice daily., 2. Kerela ayurveda brahmi pearls - twice daily., 3. Ksheerbala 101 capsules- twice.daily, 4. Manasmitramvatakam. - twice daily, 5. Anu Tailam, twice on nostrils daily. These medicines provide some relief. But the continued contamination of severe dosage of indirect contamination of ultra level of antipshychotics & antidepressants make me feel severe uncontrollable anxiety, highly breathlessness, low mood, high shuttering speech with spasm. So it's a deep & urgent request to prescribe in addition 1 premium single sealed per dose medicine to provide immediate & long lasting relief even in such a challenging living environment atleast for 2-3 months, to clearly identifying exact trigger points. Your deep efforts will be highly appreciated.

Don’t worry Prashant ji,

*I have totally understood your issue…

*The experience of feeling like one’s life is deteriorating while on medication can be isolating. However, it’s crucial to acknowledge that you are not alone in facing such challenges.

*Ayurveda, an ancient Indian holistic healing system, emphasizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit in achieving overall health and well-being.

* Ayurveda explains mental health as a balance of the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. 1.VATA IMBALANCE can lead to anxiety, restlessness, and insomnia.

2.PITTA IMBALANCE can cause anger, irritability.

3.KAPHA IMBALANCE can result in depression, lethargy.

*Ayurvedic treatment for mental health focuses on restoring the balance of the doshas through various approaches. *A balanced diet, adequate sleep, and regular exercise are crucial for managing stress and promoting mental health.

*Meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), and yoga are integral parts of Ayurvedic approaches to mental well-being.

**Abruptly stopping antipsychotics can lead to withdrawal symptoms, such as anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, and even a relapse of psychotic symptoms.

*NEED PERSONAL CONSULTATION Find qualified Ayurvedic practitioner in your area who specializes in mental health is recommended. He or She can provide a personalized assessment of your doshic balance and recommend suitable Ayurvedic treatments and therapies.

*Understanding your DOSHA constitution and the principles of Ayurvedic psychology can empower you to make informed decisions about your diet, lifestyle, and stress management practices.

* Ayurvedic treatments may take time to show their full effects. Consistency and adherence to the recommended therapies are important for achieving lasting results.

**Remember, your individual experience and journey are unique. Ayurveda can help you navigate this situation effectively and improve your overall well-being.

*Along with these, include Meditation (chanting OM Mantra)in your daily routine.

*SHIRODHARA ×15days

*Daily Massage your full body with KSHEERBALA TAILAM followed by mild fomentation with DASHMOOL KASHAYAM.

*Visit nearby panchkarma centre too.

hello prashanth ji ,

I hear you deeply, and I can feel how much suffering you’ve been carrying for more than 10 years. You’ve been through very strong medicines, difficult side effects, and on top of that, the feeling that your environment itself is not safe and is worsening your condition. This kind of long struggle can make anyone feel anxious, restless, and even lose hope in life. What you’re describing severe anxiety, tiredness, spasm, speech difficulty, low focus are your mind and body’s way of showing that they are exhausted and overloaded. The fact that you felt clear improvement within 3 months of Ayurveda tells me very strongly that your body still has the power to heal, and it responds well when it receives the right support. The problem is not you, the problem is the overload of strain your nervous system has been carrying for too long.

Now, about your request for sealed, single-dose medicines,
I understand this is important for your peace of mind, especially when you feel contamination may be happening around you. Among Ayurvedic preparations, there are indeed some premium medicines that come in blister-packed, sealed capsules or tablets which are safer and easier to trust in your situation.

Along with medicines, please also keep in mind:

Try to have a fixed daily routine – same time for food, sleep, and medicines. This reduces the feeling of uncertainty. Slow breathing practice (even 5 minutes) morning and night will reduce the breathlessness and anxiety. Stay in touch with someone you trust every day, even for a few minutes, so you don’t carry this pain silently.

You are right every life is precious, every person carries the spark of God, and you deserve peace and a better life after all this struggle. It may not change overnight, but with consistent care and safe sealed medicines, your nervous system can recover much more than you may believe right now.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Thanks Ma’am for your understanding. Can you recommend that premium med single sealed per dose, as per the urgency in my situation.

thank you for ur response ,

There has also been proper research on Rasraj Ras, which makes it more trustworthy. A 180-day study showed that even when animals were given five times the normal human dose, it did not cause any harmful effects so that gives confidence about its safety. Traditionally and clinically, Rasraj Ras is used for problems like weakness of nerves and muscles, tiredness, dizziness, anxiety, and low energy, which are very similar to what you are going through. This is why it is considered one of the best premium sealed options for your situation it is safe, effective, and directly supports the nervous system, but works best when taken regularly over time.

medicine : 1. Rasraj Ras (with Suvarna – gold-based, blister packed) Dosage: 1 tablet once daily after food Anupan (with): Honey or warm milk Duration: Start with 30 days (can be continued up to 2–3 months with monitoring)

Please remember, this medicine is safe and helpful, but it is not a “magic one-dose cure.” It works gently and steadily, so patience and consistency are very important. Make sure you buy only from a trusted brand in sealed blister packs to avoid any doubt about contamination. Along with the medicine, simple lifestyle support like good sleep, regular meals, and calming practices (oil massage, deep breathing, or gentle walking) will make the results stronger. I’ll be here to guide you if you need further support.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

I am an Ayurvedic doctor trained at one of the most reputed institutes (yeah, the kind that makes u sweat but also feel proud lol) where I completed my BAMS with 70%—not just numbers but real grind behind it. My focus during & after graduation has always been on treating the patient not just the disease, and honestly that philosophy keeps guiding me even now. I usually see anywhere around 50 to 60 patients a day, sometimes more if there's a health camp or local rush. It’s hectic, but I kinda thrive in that rhythm. What matters to me is not the number but going deep into each case—reading every complaint, understanding symptoms, prakriti, current state, season changes etc. and putting together a treatment that feels “right” for that person, not just for the condition. Like, I don’t do one-size-fits-all plans. I sit down, make case reports (yup, proper handwritten notes sometimes), observe small shifts, modify herbs, suggest diet tweaks, even plan rest patterns when needed. I find that holistic angle super powerful. And patients feel it too—some who come in dull n restless, over weeks show clarity, skin settles, energy kinda gets back... that makes the day worth it tbh. There’s no shortcut to trust, and i get that. Maybe that’s why patients keep referring their siblings or maa-papa too. Not bragging, but when people say things like “you actually listened” or “I felt heard”, it stays in the back of my mind even when I’m dog tired lol. My goal? Just to keep learning, treating honestly and evolving as per what each new case teaches me. Ayurveda isn’t static—it grows with u if u let it. I guess I’m just walking that path, one custom plan at a time.

and also ,

You’ve been carrying this heavy load in your body and mind for years, and tablets alone can only give partial relief. Panchakarma is like giving your system a complete reset — almost like pressing the restart button for your mind and nerves. When you go through treatments like oil massage (Abhyanga) and Shirodhara (warm oil flowing on your forehead), the nervous system actually feels deeply relaxed, your breath slows down, anxiety melts, and sleep becomes natural. It’s not just treatment, it’s an experience of peace that you haven’t felt in a long time.

The difference is, instead of only swallowing medicine and waiting for change, Panchakarma works directly on your body every day — releasing the tension, calming the spasms, and giving your brain space to heal. Many people who feel stuck, just like you, come out of Panchakarma feeling lighter, calmer, and more in control of themselves.

That’s why I feel this is not just an optional step for you, but something very important if you want real, long-lasting recovery. A few weeks in a good Ayurvedic center with Panchakarma can give you more progress than months of tablets.

HELLO PRASHANT,

HELLO PRASHANT,

-You’ve taken antipsychotics medicines for a long time (10+ years). These can calm the mind , but they also put heavy strain on the brain and nerves. Over years, they may cause tiredness, spasms in the mouth, speech problems, eye strain and anxiety

-Ayurveda would call this a vata-pitta imbalance -Vata gets aggravated-> causing spasms, restlessness, sleep issues, speech shuturing -Pitta also rises-> causing redness of eyes, irritability, anxiety, heat in body -The mind becomes rajasik (restless, overactive) and tamasic (dull, heavy, depressed) at the same time.

So, your symptoms feels both over stimulated and drained simultaneously

TREATMENT GOALS -Calm vata (reduce spasms, anxiety, tremors, improve sleep) -cool down excess pitta (soothe eyes, reduce irritability, ease burning) -nourish the brain and nerves (medhya + rasayana- rejuvenating for mind) -slowly detox the long- term drug effects (without pushing the body too hard) -bring back energy, clarity, focus so you can function and rebuild your career/life

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) STRESSCOM= 1 twice daily after meals (Blister packed) for 3-6 months =strengthen nerves, reduces anxiety, improves sleep

2) BRAHMI PEARLS= 1 twice daily in morning and night for 6 months =improves focus, speech, calms restlessness

3) JATAMANSI CAPSULES= (sealed)- 1 cap at night for 3 months =potent calming herb, reduces spasms, helps sleep, prevents overthinking

4) KSHEERBALA 101 CAPSULES= 1 twice daily after meals for 3 months =excellent for vata, tremors, spasms, speech

5) MANASMITRA VATAKAM= premium sealed tablet form- 1 twice daily for 3 months =calming, anti-spasm effect

6) ANU TAILA NASYA= 2 drops in each nostril morning =clears senses, calms mind, nourishes brain directly

EXTERNAL THERAPY

1) OIL MASSAGE= With warm Bala ashwagandhadhi taila followed by warm water bath =calms vata, relaxes muscles, reduces spasms

2) NASYA= instill 2 drops of Brahmi taila in each nostril daily morning =improves speech, nervous strength, reduces spasms in head/neck

DIET -warm, freshly cooked food -khichdi, vegetable soup, rice with ghee -milk with turmeric, pinch of nutmeg at night -ghee, sesame oil, soaked almonds, dates -herbal teas= brahmi, tulsi, jatamansi

AVOID (they aggravate vata/pitta and worsen spasms/anxiety) -cold, dry, leftover foods -excess spicy, sour, fried foods -coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking -packaged junk food, aerated drinks

LIFESTYLE

SLEEP= go to bed before 11 pm, wake up early

ROUTINE= eat at fixed times, maintain regularity

AVOID OVERSTIMULATION= loud tv, excess social media, disturbing news

NATURE EXPOSURE= morning/evening walks, sunlight for 20-30 mins

SELF OIL MASSAGE= head, feet, spine before bath

YOGA AND PRANAYAM

1) Bhramari pranayam= 7 rounds morning and evening -> reduces anxiety, improves speech control

2) Anulom-vilom= 10 rounds-> balances brain hemispheres, calms nerves

3) SHAVASANA= 10 mins daily resets nervous system

4) GENTLE CHANTING OF “OM”= vibrational therapy for speech and calmness

5) Avoid very forceful pranayama in your condition like kapalbhati

HOME REMEDIES

1) Warm milk + 1 tsp ghee + pinch of nutmeg at bedtime-> better sleep

2) Soaked almonds + raisins in morning -> brain nourishment

3) Tulsi + brahmi tea once daily-> reduces anxiety

4) Coconut water -> balances pitta, reduces restlessness

INVESTIGATION NEEDED -Neurological evaluation= check for tardive dyskinesia, dystonia -Psychiatric review= assess necessity and dose of current antipsychotic

Prashant, your suffering is real and serious. please remember -do not suddenly stop allopathy- always taper under observation -Ayurveda can reduce side effects, rebuild strength and improve quality of life, but it must be personalised -mind, body, and environment healing together will help you regain stability -your desire to overcome this and contribute to the world is your biggest strength- hold onto it.

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

I understand, how difficult your journey has been carrying the side effects of long-term antipsychotics along with the fear of indirect exposure that makes life feel unsafe. The Ayurvedic medicines, you’re already taking or a solid combination and encouraging that you feel some relief from them, since your concern is the need for a single sealed premium quality medicine that offers stronger protection and faster relief best options would be SUMENTA CAPSULES (CHARAK PHARMA) for immediate coming of anxiety, panic and breathlessness, and Brahmi vati gold for long-term nourishment of the brain, stability of mood and deduction of speed issues. Both comes in sealed dose form under safer. Either can be started at one capsule after meals at night for a few days, then increase to twice daily if tolerated well along with this continue Anu Thailam do Pranayam Yoga Sanana meditation regularly and try to maintain confidence in your healing process because your body has already shown. hear how difficult things have been for you. Dealing with extreme tiredness, anxiety, and physical symptoms for over a decade while feeling like your life has been put on hold is an immense burden. It’s completely understandable that you’re looking for solutions to regain your health and get back to your career.

The symptoms you’re experiencing, including the feeling of “nano level contamination,” are very serious and require professional medical attention. The belief that you are being indirectly contaminated with medications through air or water is a significant concern that needs to be addressed with a healthcare provider. These feelings, especially when tied to specific events like the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, are often a symptom of the very conditions you are trying to treat.

1) tab mansaamrita rasa 1-1-1 after food

2 ashwagnadharishta 20 ml after food 2 times

3) tab smritisagar rasa- 1-0-1 after food 4) brahmi vati 1-0-1 after food

Panchakarma Therapies: These are detoxification and rejuvenation treatments that are a core part of Ayurveda. For mental health, therapies such as: Shirodhara: The continuous pouring of warm oil on the forehead to calm the nervous system and relieve anxiety. Abhyanga: Full-body massage with medicated oils to promote relaxation and balance. Nasya: Nasal administration of herbal oils to cleanse and calm the head and mind. Lifestyle and Dietary Recommendations In addition to herbal remedies, Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of lifestyle and dietary changes for mental well-being. These include: Mindful Diet: A nourishing diet tailored to one’s dosha constitution is crucial. This involves including fresh, whole foods while minimizing processed and artificial substances. Yoga and Pranayama: Practices like yoga postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama), such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), are recommended to relieve stress and balance the nervous system. Meditation: Mindfulness and meditation practices are integral to Ayurvedic approaches for stress management and promoting mental clarity. Quality Sleep: Establishing a regular sleep routine is essential for mental health

In addressing the challenges you’re facing, Ayurveda offers several methods to support your system in a holistic way. Given the persistent exposure to potential contaminants, it is crucial to focus on strengthening your nervous system and enhancing overall health.

Your current regimen seems well-rounded, but considering your unique situation, adding a few more strategies might amplify the benefits. To help counter the effects of anxiety and stress, consider adding Jatamansi, which is known for its grounding properties and benefits for the nervous system. You can take Jatamansi capsules, preferably single-sealed, one capsule twice daily after meals to support mental tranquility.

Ashwagandha, as an adaptogen, can also provide resilience against stress and anxiety. Look for Ashwagandha capsules, and take one capsule twice daily after meals. Ensure that the medicines are sourced from reputable suppliers to minimize contamination.

To support the digestive system, you might consider Triphala, a classical Ayurvedic formula that can help strengthen the digestive fire and enhance detoxification. Taking one capsule of a sealed Triphala dose before bedtime can aid in maintaining metabolic balance.

In addition, practices like Pranayama (breathing exercises) might help balance your mind. Spending 15 minutes each day on Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) can enhance the parasympathetic response, calming anxiety. Complement this with yoga poses such as Shavasana (Corpse Pose) to help anchor and soothe the nervous system.

Meanwhile, pay attention to diet—consume grounding and nourishing foods like ghee, whole grains, nuts, and cooked vegetables to support your overall health. Also, staying hydrated with warm fluids can aid in maintaining balance within your system.

Keep in mind, while these Ayurvedic measures support health, it is essential to maintain a dialogue with your healthcare provider regarding ongoing exposure concerns, and necessary interventions, to ensure your safety and well-being.

Based on your situation and the described symptoms, it’s crucial to ensure that any severe, potentially life-threatening symptoms such as breathing difficulty and severe anxiety are addressed with the help of professional medical care immediately. Antipsychotics and antidepressants can have serious effects, and if there’s any suspicion of harmful contamination or interaction, seeking emergency medical expertise is essential. The Ayurvedic approach can complement but should not replace necessary allopathic interventions in life-threatening situations.

For addressing anxiety and nervous system imbalances from an Ayurvedic perspective, focusing on balancing the Vata dosha is essential as it tends to govern movement and mind activity. In your case, the medicine already prescribed seems to aim at calming and stability. You can consider supplementing this protocol with Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), which is well-known to calm the mind and support overall mental health. You might try Ashwagandha churna (powder) in a single sealed dose form. Take it either with warm milk at night to promote restful sleep or with warm water in the morning if preferred. Proper sealing of each dose minimizes contamination risk.

Furthermore, avoid excessive use of electronics shortly before bed to support lower stress levels and better sleep. Investigating the air and water quality in your environment with a professional service may help identify and reduce the suspected contamination sources. Also, eating a nourishing vata-balancing diet—warm, cooked foods prepared with spices like cumin and turmeric—and ensuring routine yoga or pranayama breathing exercises might further stabilize your system. Remember, however, to keep clear communication with healthcare providers to better navigate your health concerns.

HELLO PRASHANT,

I hear your concern. what you describe- severe anxiety, mouth spasms, speech difficulties, and extreme tiredness after long- term antipsychotic use - is very serious. These symptoms may be related to side effects of antipsychotics, particularly tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements such as mouth spasms), drug-induced Parkinsonism, or even neuroleptic malignant syndrome in some cases.

FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT STEP This is not safe to manage alone. You should urgently consult a psychiatrist or neurologist- especially if symptoms are worsening or feel life-threthening. Dose adjustment, change of medication, or the use of specific antidyskinetic medicines like tetrabenazine, amantadine, benzodiazepines, propranolol may be required

While modern medical supervision is essential , Ayurveda can offer supportive management to reduce stress, spasms, and improve nervous system strength. A tailored approach Is needed, but generally

1) REMOVAL OF CAUSE -Gradual supervised withdrawal or change of the offending medicine -avoid stimulants coffee, excess screen time, alcohol, smoking

2) PACIFYING THERAPY

-KALYANAKA GHRITA= 10 ml with warm milk once daily. in morning after breakfast =can be increased gradually to 15 ml if tolerated

-SARASWATARISHTA= 30 ml with equal water twice daily after meals =helps anxiety, speech, memory

-ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 6 gm with milk once daily at night

-SHANKHAPUSHPI VATI= 500mg thrice daily after meals =helps anxiety and cognitive clarity

- ANTI SPASM/ MUSCLE RELAXING

-MAHATIKTAKA GHRITA= 10 ml with warm milk once daily =good for neurological vata disorders

-BALA+SHATAVARI + ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with milk once daily =strengthen muscles, reduces tremors

3) PANCHAKARMA SUPPORTIVE THERAPIES

-OIL MASSAGE + HOT FOMENTATION= daily 30-45 min =use mahanarayan taila ; relaxes muscles and nerves

-SHIRODHARA= 20-30 min/day, 3-4 times/week =brahmi taila ; reduces anxiety and mouth spasms

-NASYA= 6 drops of Anu taila per nostril daily =improves speech clarity and neurological coordination

4) LIFESTYLE AND DIET -Warm, freshly cooked, sattvik diet. avoid junk , fermented, or excessively spicy food -yoga and pranayam= nadi sodhana, bhramari and gentle meditation -regular sleep schedule

-Ayurveda can be supportive, but abruptly stooping antipsychotics is dangerous and may cause rebound psychosis or severe withdrawal -Your description of “contamination through air or water” may itself be part of psychiatric condition (paranoid perception). please share this openly with doctor- they will help without judgement -If you ever feel like harming yourself or your condition is worsening-> seek emergency medical care immediately

THANK YOU

Dr. Anjali Sehrawat
I am Dr. Anjali Sehrawat. Graduated BAMS from National College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Barwala (Hisar) in 2023—and right now I'm doing my residency, learning a lot everyday under senior clinicians who’ve been in the field way longer than me. It’s kind of intense but also really grounding. Like, it makes you pause before assuming anything about a patient. During my UG and clinical rotations, I got good hands-on exposure... not just in diagnosing through Ayurvedic nidan but also understanding where and when Allopathic tools (like lab reports or acute interventions) help fill the gap. I really believe that if you *actually* want to heal someone, you gotta see the whole picture—Ayurveda gives you that depth, but you also need to know when modern input is useful, right? I’m more interested in chronic & lifestyle disorders—stuff like metabolic imbalances, stress-linked issues, digestive problems that linger and slowly pull energy down. I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I try to see what fits the patient’s prakriti, daily habits, emotional pattern etc. It’s not textbook-perfect every time, but that’s where the real skill grows I guess. I do a lot of thinking abt cause vs symptom—sometimes it's not the problem you see that actually needs solving first. What I care about most is making sure the treatment is safe, ethical, practical, and honest. No overpromising, no pushing meds that don’t fit. And I’m always reading or discussing sth—old Samhitas or recent journals, depends what the case demands. My goal really is to build a practice where people feel seen & understood, not just “managed.” That's where healing actually begins, right?

Dr. Manjula
I am an Ayurveda practitioner who’s honestly kind of obsessed with understanding what really caused someone’s illness—not just what hurts, but why it started in the first place. I work through Prakruti-Vikruti pareeksha, tongue analysis, lifestyle patterns, digestion history—little things most ppl skip over, but Ayurveda doesn’t. I look at the whole system and how it’s interacting with the world around it. Not just, like, “you have acidity, take this churna.” My main focus is on balancing doshas—Vata, Pitta, Kapha—not in a copy-paste way, but in a very personalized, live-and-evolving format. Because sometimes someone looks like a Pitta imbalance but actually it's their aggravated Vata stirring it up... it’s layered. I use herbal medicine, ahar-vihar (diet + daily routine), lifestyle modifications and also just plain conversations with the patient to bring the mind and body back to a rhythm. When that happens—healing starts showing up, gradually but strongly. I work with chronic conditions, gut imbalances, seasonal allergies, emotional stress patterns, even people who just “don’t feel right” anymore but don’t have a name for it. Prevention is also a huge part of what I do—Ayurveda isn’t just for after you fall sick. Helping someone stay aligned, even when nothing feels urgent, is maybe the most powerful part of this science. My entire practice is rooted in classical Ayurvedic texts—Charaka, Sushruta, Ashtanga Hridayam—and I try to stay true to the system, but I also speak to people where they’re at. That means making the treatments doable in real life. No fancy lists of herbs no one can find. No shloka lectures unless someone wants them. Just real healing using real logic and intuition together. I care about precision in diagnosis. I don’t rush that part. I take time. Because one wrong assumption and you’re treating the shadow, not the source. And that’s what I try to avoid. My goal isn’t temporary relief—it’s to teach the body how to not need constant fixing. When someone walks away lighter, clearer, more in tune with their system—that’s the actual win.

Dr. Ayush Varma
I am an Ayurvedic physician with an MD from AIIMS—yeah, the 2008 batch. That time kinda shaped everything for me... learning at that level really forces you to think deeper, not just follow protocol. Now, with 15+ years in this field, I mostly work with chronic stuff—autoimmune issues, gut-related problems, metabolic syndrome... those complex cases where symptoms overlap n patients usually end up confused after years of going in circles. I don’t rush to treat symptoms—I try to dig into what’s actually causing the system to go off-track. I guess that’s where my training really helps, especially when blending classical Ayurveda with updated diagnostics. I did get certified in Panchakarma & Rasayana therapy, which I use quite a lot—especially in cases where tissue-level nourishment or deep detox is needed. Rasayana has this underrated role in post-illness recovery n immune stabilization, which most people miss. I’m pretty active in clinical research too—not a full-time academic or anything, but I’ve contributed to studies on how Ayurveda helps manage diabetes, immunity burnout, stress dysregulation, things like that. It’s been important for me to keep a foot in that evidence-based space—not just because of credibility but because it keeps me from becoming too rigid in practice. I also get invited to speak at wellness events n some integrative health conferences—sharing ideas around patient-centered treatment models or chronic care via Ayurvedic frameworks. I practice full-time at a wellness centre that’s serious about Ayurveda—not just the spa kind—but real, protocol-driven, yet personalised medicine. Most of my patients come to me after trying a lot of other options, which makes trust-building a huge part of what I do every single day.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I am a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician practicing since 1990—feels strange saying “over three decades” sometimes, but yeah, that’s the journey. I’ve spent these years working closely with chronic conditions that don’t always have clear answers in quick fixes. My main work has been around skin disorders, hair fall, scalp issues, and long-standing lifestyle stuff like diabetes, arthritis, and stress that kinda lingers under everything else. When someone walks into my clinic, I don’t jump to treat the problem on the surface. I start by understanding their *prakriti* and *vikriti*—what they’re made of, and what’s currently out of sync. That lets me build treatment plans that actually *fit* their system—not just push a medicine and hope it works. I use a mix of classical formulations, panchakarma if needed, dietary corrections, and slow, practical lifestyle changes. No overnight miracle talk. Just steady support. Hair fall and skin issues often feel cosmetic from outside—but internally? It’s about digestion, stress, liver, hormones... I’ve seen patients try 10+ things before landing in front of me. And sometimes they just need someone to *listen* before throwing herbs at the problem. That’s something I never skip. With arthritis and diabetes too, I take the same root-cause path. I give Ayurvedic medicines, but also work with *dinacharya*, *ahar* rules, and ways to reduce the load modern life puts on the body. We discuss sleep, food timing, mental state, all of it. I’ve also worked a lot with people dealing with high stress—career burnout, anxiety patterns, overthinking—and my approach there includes Ayurvedic counseling, herbal mind support, breathing routines... depends what suits them. My foundation is built on classical *samhitas*, clinical observation, and actual time with patients—not theories alone. My goal has always been simple: to help people feel well—not just for a few weeks, but in a way that actually lasts. Healing that feels like *them*, not just protocol. That’s what I keep aiming for.

Dr. Anirudh Deshmukh
I am Dr Anurag Sharma, done with BAMS and also PGDHCM from IMS BHU, which honestly shaped a lot of how I approach things now in clinic. Working as a physician and also as an anorectal surgeon, I’ve got around 2 to 3 years of solid experience—tho like, every day still teaches me something new. I mainly focus on anorectal care (like piles, fissure, fistula stuff), plus I work with chronic pain cases too. Pain management is something I feel really invested in—seeing someone walk in barely managing and then leave with actual relief, that hits different. I’m not really the fancy talk type, but I try to keep my patients super informed, not just hand out meds n move on. Each case needs a bit of thinking—some need Ksharasutra or minor para surgical stuff, while others are just lifestyle tweaks and herbal meds. I like mixing the Ayurved principles with modern insights when I can, coz both sides got value really. It’s like—knowing when to go gentle and when to be precise. Right now I’m working hard on getting even better with surgical skills, but also want to help people get to me before surgery's the only option. Had few complicated cases where patience n consistency paid off—no shortcuts but yeah, worth it. The whole point for me is to actually listen first, like proper listen. People talk about symptoms but also say what they feel—and that helps in understanding more than any lab report sometimes. I just want to stay grounded in my work, and keep growing while doing what I can to make someone's pain bit less every day.

Dr. Snehal Vidhate
I am Dr. Snehal Vidhate, born n brought up in Maharashtra—and honestly, for as long as I remember I’ve felt this pull towards Ayurveda. Not the fancy version ppl throw around, but the deep, real kind that actually helps ppl. I did my BAMS from YMT Ayurvedic Medical College in Kharghar. That’s where I got my basics strong—like really studied the shastras, understood prakriti, doshas, the whole deal. Not just crammed theory but started to see how it shows up in real lives. After finishing BAMS, I got into this one-year certificate course at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi—honestly a turning point. I was super lucky to learn Kerala Ayurveda from my Guru, Prof. Dr. G.G. Gangadharan. He’s got this way of seeing things... simple but deep. That time with him taught me more than any textbook ever could. It kinda reshaped how I look at health, healing n how precise Ayurveda can be when you respect its roots. Right now I’m doing my MD in Panchakarma from SDM Ayurveda College, Bangalore. This place is like a hub for serious Ayurveda work. The Panchakarma training here? Super intense. We go deep into detoxification & rasayana therapy—not just theory again, but hands-on. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

Dr. M.Sushma
I am Dr. Sushma M and yeah, I’ve been in Ayurveda for over 20 yrs now—honestly still learning from it every day. I mostly work with preventive care, diet logic, and prakriti-based guidance. I mean, why wait for full-blown disease when your body’s been whispering for years, right? I’m kinda obsessed with that early correction part—spotting vata-pitta-kapha imbalances before they spiral into something deeper. Most ppl don’t realize how much power food timing, digestion rhythm, & basic routine actually have… until they shift it. Alongside all that classical Ayurveda, I also use energy medicine & color therapy—those subtle layers matter too, esp when someone’s dealing with long-term fatigue or emotional heaviness. These things help reconnect not just the body, but the inner self too. Some ppl are skeptical at first—but when you treat *beyond* the doshas, they feel it. And I don’t force anything… I just kinda match what fits their nature. I usually take time understanding a person’s prakriti—not just from pulse or skin or tongue—but how they react to stress, sleep patterns, their relationship with food. That whole package tells the story. I don’t do textbook treatment lines—I build a plan that adjusts *with* the person, not on top of them. Over the years, watching patients slowly return to their baseline harmony—that's what keeps me in it. I’ve seen folks come in feeling lost in symptoms no one explained… and then walk out weeks later understanding their body better than they ever did. That, to me, is healing. Not chasing symptoms, but restoring rhythm. I believe true care doesn’t look rushed, or mechanical. It listens, observes, tweaks gently. That's the kind of Ayurveda I try to practice—not loud, but deeply rooted.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.

Dr. Hemanshu Mehta
I am Dr. Hemanshu—right now a 2nd year MD scholar in Shalya Tantra, which basically means I’m training deep into the surgical side of Ayurveda. Not just cutting and stitching, btw, but the whole spectrum of para-surgical tools like Agnikarma, Viddhakarma, and Kshara Karma... these aren’t just traditional, they’re super precise when done right. I’m not saying I know everything yet (still learning every day honestly), but I do have solid exposure in handling chronic pain issues, muscle-joint disorders, and anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, fistulas—especially where modern treatments fall short or the patient’s tired of going through loops. During clinical rounds, I’ve seen how even simple Kshara application or well-timed Agnikarma can ease stuff like tennis elbow or planter fasciatis, fast. But more than the technique, I feel the key is figuring what matches the patient’s constitution n lifestyle... like one-size-never-fits-all here. I try to go beyond the complaint—looking into their ahar, sleep, stress levels, digestion, and just how they feel in general. That part gets missed often. I honestly believe healing isn’t just a “procedure done” kind of thing. I try not to rush—spend time on pre-procedure prep, post-care advice, what diet might help the tissue rebuild faster, whether they’re mentally up for it too. And no, I don’t ignore pathology reports either—modern diagnostic tools help me stay grounded while applying ancient methods. It’s not this vs that, it’s both, when needed. My aim, tbh, is to become the kind of Ayurvedic surgeon who doesn't just do the work but understands why that karma or technique is needed at that point in time. Every case teaches me something new, and that curiosity keeps me moving.

Dr. Nisha Bisht
I am an Ayurvedic physician with over 10 years of real, everyday experience—both in the clinical side and in managing systems behind the scenes. My journey started at Jiva Ayurveda in Faridabad, where I spent around 3 years juggling in-clinic and telemedicine consultations. That time taught me how different patient care can look when it’s just you, the person’s voice, and classical texts. No fancy setups—just your grasp on nidan and your ability to *listen properly*. Then I moved into a Medical Officer role at Uttaranchal Ayurved College in Dehradun, where I stayed for 7 years. It was more than just outpatient care—I was also involved in academic work, teaching students while continuing to treat patients. That phase really pushed me to re-read things with new eyes. You explain something to students one day and then end up applying it differently the next day on a patient. The loop between theory and practice became sharper there. Right now, I’m working as Deputy Medical Superintendent at Shivalik Hospital (part of the Shivalik Ayurved Institute in Dehradun). It’s a dual role—consulting patients *and* making sure the hospital ops run smooth. I get to ensure that the Ayurvedic care we deliver is both clinically sound and logistically strong. From patient case planning to supporting clinical staff and overseeing treatment quality—I keep an eye on all of it. Across all these years, my focus hasn’t changed much—I still work to blend classical Ayurved with today’s healthcare structure in a way that feels practical, safe and real. I don’t believe in overloading patients or selling “quick detox” ideas. I work on balancing doshas, rebuilding agni, planning proper chikitsa based on the person’s condition and constitution. Whether it’s lifestyle disorders, seasonal issues, chronic cases, or plain unexplained fatigue—I try to reach the cause before anything else. I still believe that Ayurved works best when it’s applied with clarity and humility—not overcomplicated or oversold. That’s the approach I carry into every patient room and every team meeting. It’s a long road, but it’s one I’m fully walking.
