My hair is falling a lot. I use Dabur Amla oil and Areetha, Amla & Shikakai herbal shampoo. I always dry my hair after washing. I comb dry hair. What Ayurvedic treatment do you suggest?

–Pitta imbalance → weak hair roots, thinning, hair fall Vata imbalance → dryness, brittle hair Possible mild Rakta (blood) or nutrient deficiency –Dabur Amla Hair Oil is good, but for active hair fall you may need something stronger: Better options: Bhringraj oil (best for hair fall control) Brahmi oil (calms scalp + stress) –Your Reetha–Amla–Shikakai combo is excellent. 👉 But: Don’t wash too frequently (2–3 times/week is enough) Avoid very hot water (increases Pitta) –Rx: Bhringrajasava – 15 ml + equal water, twice after meals Amla Churna – 1 tsp OD morning Ashwagandha Churna – 1 tsp HS with milk — External: Bhringraj Taila – apply 3×/week —advice: Take amla, sesame, green veg Avoid spicy/junk, late nights –Follow-up: 1 month

Avoid oily spicy and processed foods. Regular exercise and meditation. Increase intake of raw vegetables and fruits. Massage on scalp with bhringraj oil twice a week. Tab Bhringraj 2-0-2 Amalaki rasayan 5gms twice a day.

Avoid stress and irregular sleep, as they can increase hair fall. Do gentle oil massage 2–3 times a week with coconut or amla oil. Avoid excessive heat, harsh chemicals, and tight hairstyles. Do not comb very wet hair, and handle hair gently. Internal health and digestion also play an important role in hair quality. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support hair health include: Amla (Amalaki) – traditionally used to support hair strength and nourishment. Bhringraj – commonly used to support hair growth and scalp health. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
