SNA Laakshaadi Coconut Oil - #30632
I am really frustrated with my hair lately and need some guidance. For the past month or so, my scalp has been super itchy, and I’m starting to notice more and more flakes. I’ve tried a bunch of different shampoos, but nothing seems to work. In my search, I came across SNA Laakshaadi Coconut Oil and saw some amazing reviews about it. They say it really helps with dryness and also promotes hair growth. I’ve used coconut oil before, but I didn’t know SNA Laakshaadi Coconut Oil was a thing until recently! Should I just apply it directly on my scalp or mix it with something else? Also, how long do I need to leave it in to actually see any results? Last week I even visited a dermatoligist, and they didn’t really have solid advice, just suggested more shampoos haha. Feeling kinda lost here. Have any of you tried SNA Laakshaadi Coconut Oil for similar issues? Did it really help, or is it just another hype? I want to believe that natural remedies can work, but I’m also skeptical. Anyway, any tips would be super appreciated!!

Doctors’ responses
In dealing with your scalp issues like itchiness and flakes, SNA Laakshaadi Coconut Oil might be a suitable option. It’s formulated specifically for scalp health, integrating principles from Ayurveda aimed at balancing the doshas, particularly focusing on imbalances involving dryness and inflammation (often related to Vata and Pitta). The primary ingredients in Laakshaadi oil work that can be beneficial for soothing irritation and promoting a healthier scalp.
When using this oil, purity and application are key. You can apply the oil directly onto your scalp. Make sure to massage it gently for about 5-10 minutes. This massage stimulates circulation and helps the oil penetrate deeper into the scalp. Consider doing this process once or twice a week, preferably in the evenings before you go to sleep. This allows the oil to be absorbed well overnight. In the morning, wash it out using a mild, sulfate-free shampoo.
If your scalp is extremely irritated, mixing the oil with a few drops of tea tree or neem oil can enhance its antibacterial and antifungal properties, addressing flakiness. However, start with plain Laakshaadi Coconut Oil to see how your scalp responds.
Visible results may start appearing in a few weeks, but patience is essential with Ayurveda. Regular use for about 1-2 months may lead to a significant improvement in symptoms. Any natural treatment relies on consistency and attentiveness to your body’s response. If the itchiness or flakes worsen, reconsider the use or consult an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Along with topical treatments, ensure your diet supports your scalp health. Include hydrating and cooling foods like cucumber, leafy greens, and hydrating fruits like watermelon. Avoid excessively spicy, oily, or processed foods as such can aggravate pitta dosha, potentially worsening inflammation or irritation. Also, make sure you’re properly hydrated, and manage stress effectively, as stress can exacerbate scalp conditions. Ensure a good balance between rest and activity, maintaining regular schedules to support overall wellbeing.
