Based on the details you shared, a GFR of 11, creatinine level of 6.74 persistent protein in urine and kidney size around 7.2 cm clearly indicate advanced chronic kidney disease. This is not an early or moderate stage. The reduced kidney size is a very important finding because it shows that the damage is chronic and structural. Kidneys shrink only after long standing injury, fibrosis and loss of functioning tissue. This means the disease process has been active for years, even if noticeable symptoms appeared only in the last six months.

According to ayurveda , this condition is due to prolonged vitiation of Vata dosha with deep dhatu kshaya.Protein loss in urine indicates loss of dharana shakti of the kidneys. At this stage, agni is also compromised at a deeper metabolic level, even if appetite appears variable. Ama formation, impaired metabolism and progressive tissue depletion is seen

When kidney size has reduced to around 7.2 cm and GFR is around 11 regeneration of kidney tissue is difficult.Ayurveda does not claim regeneration of scarred organs. The role of Ayurveda at this stage is protective and supportive, not curative.

Ayurvedic treatment at this stage can help in slowing further deterioration, stabilizing parameters for a period of time, supporting digestion and metabolism, reducing toxin accumulation, improving urine flow if possible, managing symptoms like weakness, swelling, acidity or disturbed sleep, and improving overall quality of life. protein leakage may reduce and creatinine may remain stable for some time with strict discipline, outcomes vary from person to person and depend on nephron reserve, blood pressure control, diet, compliance and continuous monitoring. Excess protein intake can increase nitrogenous waste and kidney burden. Protein should be easily digestible .Salt restriction is essential to prevent fluid overload and blood pressure rise. Processed foods, packaged foods, bakery items, refined sugar, excess spices, pickles, sauces and outside food should be strictly avoided. Adequate calories must be maintained through safe carbohydrates and fats to prevent muscle breakdown and weakness.

food should be freshly prepared, warm, light and simple. Heavy, fried, very oily or very dry foods aggravate Vata and worsen kidney stress. Very cold food and drinks should also be avoided. Meals should be taken in small quantities at regular intervals to protect agni and reduce toxin formation. Good digestion reduces ama load, which indirectly reduces burden on the kidneys.

it is important that medicines used are appropriate for advanced kidney disease. Strong detox therapies or metallic preparations can be harmful if not used with caution.even mild dehydration, electrolyte imbalance or drug overload can worsen kidney function

Regular monitoring by a nephrologist is important. Blood pressure, creatinine, GFR, potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus and hemoglobin must be monitored regularly , complications of advanced kidney disease, such as high potassium or severe anemia, can become serious if not detected early. Ayurveda works best as a complementary approach here, not as a replacement

avoid painkillers, self medication, herbal combinations without guidance and frequent changes in treatment .Consistency, monitoring and disciplined lifestyle play a larger role than frequent medicine changes at this stage.

If dialysis is adviced by your nephrologist in the future, it should not be seen as a failure of treatment. Dialysis is a supportive therapy when kidneys are unable to maintain internal balance. Many patients continue Ayurveda dialysis to maintain strength, digestion and overall wellbeing, but dialysis decisions should be taken based on clinical need and laboratory values, not fear.

Because of your young age, preserving remaining kidney function for as long as possible is the priority. Blood pressure control, diet restriction , avoiding nephrotoxic , adequate rest are essential. Excess stress, irregular routine and sleep deprivation aggravate last Vata and affects kidney health.

Ayurveda at this stage focuses on slowing progression, supporting remaining nephrons, improving metabolism and maintaining balance rather than reversal. If your current treatment is stabilizing reports, maintaining urine output and improving da to day functioning, then it is serving its purpose. If there is continuous worsening despite strict adherence, the treatment plan needs reassessment rather than blind continuation.

I just want to know some details such as blood pressure readings, daily urine output, any presence of swelling, hemoglobin level, potassium level and current medicines so I can guide you even more precisely
