At 70 years of age, nerve weakness and body pains can have many causes such as diabetes, vitamin B12 deficiency, cervical/lumbar spondylosis, neuropathy, or circulation problems. It is important to identify the cause before starting any medicine. Regarding Tantrik Forte: it is generally marketed as a nerve-support supplement. It may help some people, but there is limited scientific evidence that it treats the underlying cause of nerve weakness. Check with your physician if you have diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, or take multiple medications. Take • Ashwagandha Churna 3 g twice daily with warm milk after food. • Ksheerabala 101 Capsules – 1 capsule twice daily after food. • Maharasnadi Kashayam 15 ml with 45 ml warm water twice daily before food if body pain and stiffness are present. • Daily Abhyanga (oil massage) with Ksheerabala Taila or Mahanarayana Taila followed by a warm bath. Diet: • Include milk, ghee, almonds, black sesame seeds, green gram, and protein-rich foods. • Maintain good hydration and regular walking as tolerated.

••At 70 years old, experiencing nervine weakness (nerve weakness) and generalized body pains is a common manifestation of an increased Vata Dosha, which naturally dominates during this stage of life (Vardhakya Avastha). ••To give you the most accurate advice regarding Tantric Forte (often matching proprietary formulations like Tentex Forte or Tantra Sutra/Maxx): No, it is not the ideal first choice for generalized nerve weakness and pain. Here is why, followed by what will actually help you. ••Why Tantric Forte is Not the Right Choice While these formulations contain excellent herbs like Ashwagandha and Shilajit, they are primarily categorized as Vajikarana (aphrodisiacs and reproductive vitalizers) and Ushna Veerya (hot potency). Targeted Use: They are specifically formulated to improve male reproductive stamina, blood flow to specific tissues, and performance anxiety.
••The Risk at 70: Because they often contain strong herbs and mineral Bhasmas (like Makardhwaj or Trivanga Bhasma), taking them without specific indications can increase internal body heat (Pitta), leading to side effects like acidity, mild palpitations, restlessness, or increased blood pressure, which you want to strictly avoid. ••Missed Target: They will not effectively target structural nerve weakness or the Vata-induced skeletal pains you are experiencing. The Ayurvedic Approach for Nervine Weakness & Pain ••At this age, the goal is Rasayana (rejuvenation) and Vata Shamana (calming the nervous system and lubricating the joints). Instead of a heavy stimulant capsule, a classic, nourishing approach yields far better results. ••Internal Nervous TonicAshwagandharishta (2 tsp twice daily with an equal amount of lukewarm water, after meals)Nourishes the Majja Dhatu (nervous tissue), strengthens reflexes, and calms an overactive nervous system. ••Pain & Vata ReliefBalarishta or Maharasnadi Kwath (Taken alongside Ashwagandharishta)Excellent for relieving generalized aches, muscle stiffness, and nerve pain. ••External TherapyMahanarayan Taila or Balashwagandhadi TailaDaily, gentle self-massage (Abhyanga) before a warm bath drastically reduces Vata, strengthens muscles, and feeds the nerves. ••Safe Step-by-Step Guidance 1…Strengthen the Digestion (Agni) Days 1–5 At 70, low digestion creates Ama (toxins) which block nerve pathways. Ensure you are eating warm, easily digestible food. Drink warm water throughout the day. 2…Introduce Gentle Nervine Tonics Week 1 onwards Start a pure, single-herb adaptogen like Ashwagandha Choorna (half a teaspoon) or a standard capsule with a cup of warm milk at bedtime. This nourishes the nerves safely without increasing body heat. 3…Incorporate External Oil Application Daily Practice Apply warm Mahanarayan Taila to your lower back, knees, and calves. The skin absorbs these herbal fats, directly pacifying local Vata pain. ••If you have any underlying conditions like hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, or heart issues, it is absolutely essential to avoid over-the-counter vitality pills, as they can interact with allopathic medications

Nerve weakness and pain might be due to vit B12 deficiency and vit D deficiency so o would suggest to do tests and accordingly if you take it would be better

At 70 years of age, with mild nerve weakness, numbness/tingling, occasional pain, and symptoms present for more than 6 months, it is understandable that you are looking for support. Tantric Forte may help improve general nerve strength, vitality, and age-related weakness in some individuals, but I would not recommend starting it blindly without understanding the exact cause of your symptoms. Clinical Assessment Your symptoms suggest that there may be an underlying nerve-related condition rather than simple weakness alone. Common causes at your age include: Age-related nerve degeneration Vitamin B12 deficiency Diabetes-related neuropathy (sometimes present even before diagnosis) Cervical or lumbar spine issues causing nerve compression Poor circulation Chronic stress and disturbed sleep, which can worsen nerve sensitivity and pain From an Ayurvedic perspective, this pattern is often associated with Vata aggravation, which commonly manifests as numbness, tingling, pain, weakness, and sleep disturbances in older age. Ayurvedic Treatment Plan Rather than relying only on Tantric Forte, a more targeted approach is usually beneficial: Internal Medicines Ashwagandha – supports nerve strength, energy, and sleep quality. Brahmi – helps calm the nervous system and supports mental well-being. Yograj Guggulu or Mahayograj Guggulu – may help if pain is associated with age-related joint or nerve degeneration. Ksheerabala-based preparations – traditionally used for Vata-related nerve weakness and tingling. External Therapies Daily gentle massage with warm Mahanarayan Taila or Ksheerabala Taila can help improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and support nerve function. If symptoms are persistent, Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga and Basti may be considered under supervision. Diet & Lifestyle Beneficial (Pathya): Warm, freshly cooked meals Milk (if tolerated), soaked almonds, walnuts Ghee in moderation Green vegetables and protein-rich foods Avoid (Apathya): Excessively dry, cold, or processed foods Irregular meal timings Excess stress and sleep deprivation Lifestyle Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep. Practice gentle walking and stretching daily. Stress-reduction practices such as meditation or breathing exercises can be helpful. Important Precautions I would strongly advise checking: Blood sugar (Fasting/HbA1c) Vitamin B12 levels Vitamin D levels Please seek prompt medical evaluation if you develop: Progressive weakness Difficulty walking Loss of bladder or bowel control Sudden worsening numbness or severe pain Prognosis If the cause is nutritional deficiency, mild neuropathy, or age-related nerve weakness, improvement is often possible over 6–12 weeks with appropriate treatment, nutrition, sleep correction, and nerve-supportive therapies. My suggestion: Tantric Forte may be used only after confirming it is suitable for your overall health, but identifying the underlying reason for your numbness and tingling is more important than relying on a single supplement. Wishing you steady improvement and good health.

Hello, At 70 years of age, mild nerve weakness, tingling, numbness, and pain are commonly due to age related nerve degeneration, diabetes, vitamin B12 deficiency, cervical/lumbar spondylosis, or peripheral neuropathy. The underlying cause should be idenfified Is Tantric forte safe? Tantric forte is marketed as an vitality/ nerve support supplement. However -It is not a standard classical ayurvedic formulation -The complete composition and quality may vary by manufacturer -There is limited scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness for nerve weakness -At 70 years of age, it is not advisable to start it , especially if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, or are taking other medications Therefore, I do not recommend relying on Tantric forte as the primary treatment Your symptoms are suggestive for Vata vyadhi with possible Majja dhatu kshaya (nerve tissue depletion) Treatment goals -improve nerve nourishment -reduce pain, tingling, and numbness -improve strength and balance -enhance sleep quality -prevent progression Internal medications 1) Ashwagandha capsules= 500mg twice daily after meals for 3 months =supports nerve function, muscle strength, and reduces stress related symptoms 2) Ksheerbala 101 capsules= 1 cap twice daily after meals for 3 months =classically used for vata disorders affecting nerves and muscles 3) Yogaraj guggulu= 2 tabs twice daily after meals for 12 weeks =helps reduce vata related pain and stiffness External therapy 1) Mahanarayan taila -warm oil massage over the back, legs and painful areas for 12 minutes daily followed by mild hot fomentation =improves circulation, reduces stiffness, and nourishes muscles and nerves Diet -warm freshly cooked meals -cows ghee -milk -soaked almonds and walnuts -black sesame seeds -green leafy vegetables -adequate protein Avoid -cold foods and drinks -excess fried foods -alcohol -smoking -excess caffeine Lifestyle -daily walking for 30 minutes -avoid prolonged sitting -maintain regular sleep 7-8 hours -stress reduction through meditation Yoga and Pranayam -tadasana -bhujangasana -makarasana -gentle stretching -anulom vilom= 10 min daily -bhramari= 5-10 min daily Rather than using tantric forte, it is better to first identify the cause of your nerve symptoms and use well classical ayurvedic formulation as advised. Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
