Almond oil is a good option as it is mildly warming and nourishing. It contains Vitamin E, which is beneficial for the skin and helps keep it moisturized. It’s gentle and suitable for most infants, provided there’s no nut allergy concern in your family. Again, do a patch test to check for sensitivity.

Throughout the massage, ensure the room is warm enough to avoid discomfort for your baby. Prior to application, you may slightly warm the oil by placing the bottle in warm water — but always test the temperature on your skin first to ensure it’s not too hot.

Massage is advisable once a day, either in the morning or before bed. Keep the session soothing and gentle, focusing on soft strokes that help your baby relax and stimulate circulation. In case of skin irritation, stop using the oil and consult a pediatrician. Always follow your baby’s cues and comfort during the massage.
