Skin tags, known as 'Arsha' in Ayurveda, are typically benign growths that arise due to imbalance in your doshas, particularly the Kapha dosha combined with vitiated Rakta (blood tissue). While they are harmless, I understand your desire to address them using ayurvedic methods. One potential remedy is the topical application of castor oil mixed with a pinch of baking soda. This combination should be gently applied to the skin tags before bed and left overnight. Give it a try consistently for a few days and observe any changes. Including Turmeric in your diet can support internal cleansing and help balance the doshas. Drink a glass of warm water with a spoon of turmeric every morning. Additionally, the external application of turmeric paste on the skin tags may help due to its anti-inflammatory properties. To further address the Kapha imbalance, consider including more dry and warming foods in your diet. Opt for a diet that incorporates spices like ginger, black pepper, and mustard seeds. Triphala, a renowned ayurvedic formulation, can help ensure regular bowel movements and a clean system, allowing for elimination of waste that might otherwise get released to the skin surface. Take about half a teaspoon of Triphala powder in warm water before bedtime. For the moles, it's essential to understand that genetics can play a significant role. While Ayurveda doesn’t specifically treat moles, you can focus on maintaining balanced doshas to prevent any changes. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and use natural remedies like aloe vera gel to keep your skin cool and hydrated. It is important to note that if the skin tags or moles show any signs of change — like bleeding, sudden growth, itching, or color variation — seek professional medical evaluation promptly. While Ayurveda can assist in maintaining balance, some conditions necessitate further investigation by a dermatologist or medical professional.
