Dullness dark circles dry hair hairfall - #22944

I have dark circles, my face has become dull, and there are black patches too. My skin glow is gone. I have some small pimple on my cheeks redness around my nose and chin My lips have also black, and the skin around my lips has become darker. Earlier, my skin was good, but now my hair has become very dry, and I have hair fall. Please suggest which brand face wash I should use for brightening and glowing skin, my skin type is dry which shampoo for soft hair, and which soap for body tan. I am 24 years old. Plz answer my questions

It sounds like you’re navigating through a bunch of tricky skin and hair issues. Instead of jumping straight into the sea of commercial products, Ayurveda takes a different pathway by addressing the root cause first. Most issues like dullness, dark circles, hair fall, and dry skin could be due to dosha imbalances—perhaps mainly the Pitta and Vata doshas.

Start by assessing your diet, as it is fundamental in Ayurveda. Include more hydrating and cooling foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens. Try to minimize excessively spicy, processed, and oily foods, as they can aggravate Pitta. For your hair dryness and hair fall, emphasize nourishing foods like ghee, almond, sesame seeds, and amla; these can strengthen your dhatus.

Now, onto external solutions: for dry skin and dullness, you might want to explore using natural cleansers like honey, mixed with a little besan (gram flour), as it’s moisturizing without stripping your skin’s natural oils. Do this gently, about three times a week. Hydration is key, so after washing, apply a natural moisturizer, like aloe vera gel or rosewater, to lock in moisture and improve skin texture over time.

Concerning haircare, a natural remedy like a good oil massage using bhringraj oil or coconut oil with a pinch of hibiscus powder is beneficial. Apply this before washing your hair, which could be done with a mild, herbal shampoo containing amla or shikakai.

To address skin tanning, ingredients such as turmeric or sandalwood paste can be incorporated into a simple homemade body scrub, helping to gently brighten and tone your skin.

Keep in mind, consistency is crucial in Ayurvedic treatments, so be patient with yourself and these remedies. Meanwhile, consult a professional if your conditions persist, to rule out any underlying conditions.
