which juice is good for hair - #24134

Charles

I am trying to figure out which juice is good for hair because I'm having major issues lately. Like, my hair has been shedding a lot and looks kinda lifeless. I used to have such thick, shiny hair, but now it feels super brittle. I've tried a few products but honestly, I feel like I'm just wasting my time and money. A friend suggested I look into natural remedies, and I think about juice options but don’t know where to start. The other day, I read somewhere that things like aloe vera juice or cucumber juice could help, but I'm not sure how to use these? Also, is there a specific juice I should be drinking daily or applying directly to my scalp? I mean, which juice is good for hair growth specifically? I've been thinking maybe I should just go for a juice cleanse or something, but that sounds intense. Any tips or personal experiences that could guide me would be amazing! Thanks in advance!

Aloe vera juice is indeed beneficial for hair health. It contains enzymes that help in repairing dead skin cells on the scalp and works as a great conditioner, leaving your hair smooth and shiny. You can drink aloe vera juice daily, about 20-30 ml, ideally in the morning on an empty stomach. This can help balance your doshas, primarily Pitta and Vata, contributing to less hair fall and more hair growth by strengthening the hair follicles. If you prefer topical application, you can directly extract aloe vera gel from the plant and apply it to your scalp for about 30 minutes before rinsing. Cucumber juice is another good option, due to its cooling and hydrating properties. It's especially valuable if you're experiencing excessive hair loss due to heat-related issues or inflammation. Drinking a glass of fresh cucumber juice daily not only keeps you hydrated but also provides a good dose of silicon and sulfur, which are beneficial for hair health. Adding to that, amla (Indian gooseberry) juice could bring great advantages for hair care. It’s rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants which support hair growth and improve hair pigmentation. Taking 10-20 ml of amla juice mixed with a glass of water helps promote healthy hair and scalp. Regarding juicing most efficient approach is a balanced intake. Consuming a juice that blends aloe vera, cucumber, and amla may provide a holistic benefit for hair regrowth and vitality. Starting with around 100 ml of mixed juice daily can provide all the essential nutrients required. For topical application, you might make a mask: aloe vera gel mixed with amla powder and a bit of cucumber juice, applied to your scalp and hair. Leave this mixture on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing it off. Try doing this once or twiceed a week. Of course,, remember Ayurveda emphasizes balance, so just consuming juice is not the sole solution. Focus on a diet rich in proteins, good fats, and maintain hydration. If you find that shedding doesn’t decrease, it might be worth consulting a medical professional to rule out any underlying conditions.
