Hair fall and scalp issues can often be connected to underlying imbalances in your doshas, primarily Pitta and Vata. This could be causing the excessive heat in your body, leading to hair thinning and loss. The white substance you are noticing might be due to excessive sebum or even dry scalp, suggesting also a Vata imbalance.

First, let’s focus on your diet because what you consume plays a pivotal role in maintaining healthy hair. Incorporate foods that pacify Pitta and Vata, such as sweet, juicy fruits, coconut, and ample greens. Include nuts like almonds and walnuts for their healthy fats. Ghee can help improve hair quality, so use it moderately in your diet. Avoid extremely spicy, oily foods, and alcohol which can aggravate Pitta. Ensure you stay hydrated, since Vata dryness exacerbates with dehydration.

For direct hair treatment, consider a regular gentle massage of the scalp with Brahmi, Bhringraj, or Amla oil. Warm the oil slightly before application to enhance absorption and stimulate blood circulation. Keep it overnight or at least for one or two hours before you wash it off. This strengthens the roots and reduces dryness.

Continue with your mix of amla, reetha, and shikakai as they are beneficial for cleansing without stripping oils. However, avoid over-washing since this can lead to further dryness. You don’t necessarily need kids shampoo but find a sulfate-free ayurvedic shampoo that can aid in retaining moisture.

Additinally, managing stress through meditation or practicing Pranayama can be essential since stress is a common trigger for hair loss. Practicing Yoga Asanas such as Shirshasana and Sarvangasana is also beneficial since they improve circulation to the scalp.

Consider a herbal supplement like Ashwagandha or Triphala to regulate your body systems and promote overall balance. Before taking any supplements, consult with a local Ayurvedic practitioner or your healthcare provider to ensure they’re appropriate for your health needs.
