how to eat bhringraj powder for hair - #38312
I am struggling with my hair health lately and I keep hearing great things about bhringraj powder. My friend told me that bhringraj powder can do wonders for hair growth and overall strength, but I'm kinda lost on on how to eat bhringraj powder for hair. Like, do I need to mix it with something? I read somewhere that adding it to oil or maybe warm water could be helpful, but I have no clue! Last month, I tried a bunch of hair oils and masks but saw little to no results, which is soooo frustrating!!! My hair feels weak and frizzy, and I've even noticed some thinning lately. Is there a specific way to prepare it, or should I take it in a certain quantity?? I feel like I've tried everything else out there. Also, I read conflicting stuff about the taste. Is it really that bad? I worry I won’t be able to handle it! I’m all in for natural remedies, but I can’t stand super bitter things. Ugh. Has anyone had success with bhringraj powder? I’m hoping this could be the magic answer for my hair situation. Any tips?

When it comes to using bhringraj powder for hair health from an Ayurvedic perspective, there are a few options, and choosing the right one depends on your taste preferences and daily routine. Known as “Kesharaja”, bhringraj is excellent for promoting hair growth and improving hair strength due to its potent hair rejuvenative properties mentioned in Ayurvedic classics.
To consume bhringraj powder, you can mix it with water, milk, or honey. Usually, 1 teaspoon of bhringraj powder can be taken twice daily. Mixing it with warm water is quite common and simple. Just dissolve a teaspoon of the powder into a glass of warm water and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning. Some people find the taste too strong, so mixing it with honey can help mask the bitter taste - you could mix it as a paste or simply take a spoonful of honey followed by water. Milk is another alternative, especially if you don’t like strong tastes. Add the powder to a warm glass of milk before bed, as it can also support smooth digestion and relaxation.
Though bhringraj has a reputation for its bitter taste, not everyone finds it unbearable or really dislike it. Your preference for mixing it with something sweet like honey or milk should be considered, as it might suit your palate more comfortably.
Since you’ve tried treatments like oils and masks, integrating bhringraj powder into your internal routine can balance the approach, working from the inside out while supporting your digestion, which Ayurveda relates to hair health as well. Also, consider monitoring your body’s response as each person’s dosha imbalance differs. Consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner if you have specific concerns or pre-existing health conditions, especially if you’re unsure about taking it alongside other medications or supplements.
