I am having severe hairfall and hair thinning problem and my hair follicles are not strong but my hair is not brittle since 6 months can I use jeevamrutham for hair growth

Jeevamrutham has some potential but let’s dig deeper. In Ayurveda, hair fall and hair thinning can often relate to imbalances in the Pitta dosha or a weakness in your dhatus, notably Rasa (nutrient fluid) and Rakta (blood). Jeevamrutham, a general health tonic might not specifically target hair growth unless mixed with tailored herbs and techniques. It’s important to first look at improving digestive fire (agni) as it’s crucial for absorbing nutrients that hair needs.

To strengthen hair follicles naturally, you might want to try techniques like oiling your scalp regularly with oils like Bhringraj oil or Amla oil. Massage few drops gently onto your scalp in circular motions. This not only nourishes the scalp but also enhances blood circulation, which can promote stronger, more resilient hair growth.

Diet plays a key role too. Make sure you’re consuming a Pitta pacifying diet, which includes cooling foods like cucumber, sweet fruits, and melons, while minimizing spicy, sour, and salty foods. Including good sources of protein like moong dal and legumes can help nourish the hair root.

As for Jeevamrutham, it’s generally safe to use if you’re keen on it. Taking it after meals might aid digestion and overall health. But expectations should be realistic, as it doesn’t target hair directly in most cases.

Consider stress management techniques like yoga or meditation to balance your doshas. Hair reflects overall body balance, so ensuring your mental peace is beneficial. If these methods don’t yield improvements, a detailed Ayurvedic consultation might help identify specific constitutional imbalances. Avoid harsh shampoos or heat treatments; they can weaken hair over time, making things worse. Also, remember to hydrate adequately, dehydration can affect hair texture and growth.
