The symptoms you’re describing indicate a potential imbalance in your body’s doshas, particularly the Pitta and Kapha doshas. This can manifest as excessive oiliness, inflammation, and potential toxin accumulation, which Ayurveda refers to as ‘ama.’ The challenges you’re facing with hair loss, itchy scalp, and discharges point to aggravated Pitta-Kapha influencing your skin and hair health. There could be deeper systemic issues at play that may require attention, potentially necessitating a consultation with a healthcare provider, especially if the discharge is persistent or causing discomfort.

To address these issues from an Ayurvedic perspective, start by managing the oiliness and supporting your skin and scalp health. Consider using a hair wash made from reetha (soapnut) and shikakai, both natural cleansers. Use them twice a week to gently cleanse your scalp without over-drying it. Massage your scalp with warm coconut oil infused with neem leaves weekly to soothe itching and balance excess pitta. If possible, after the oil, do steam therapy with a towel wrapped around your head to promote better blood circulation.

For your eyes, rinse them with cool rose water or triphala water in the mornings to reduce itchiness and support eye health. This can be prepared by soaking triphala powder in water overnight and straining it the next morning. Ensure you’re drinking enough water and maintaining a balanced diet rich in vegetables and less spicy foods, as these help to stabilize the body’s internal heat, reducing inflammation and excessive sebum production.

Regarding the discoloration and the stiffness in palms, opt for regular body massage. Use sesame oil with a pinch of turmeric before bathing; it can help reduce body heat, improve circulation and aid in detoxification. Avoid consuming fried foods and excessive dairy products, as they can worsen Kapha imbalance.

Ensure you’re sleeping adequately by winding down with a calming herbal infusion made from licorice and mint leaves before bed to create a restful environment. Be attentive to these symptoms. If the discharge continues or other disturbing symptoms arise, seek immediate medical advice to ensure your safety and well-being, as these could indicate an underlying condition that needs professional assessment.
