how to use patanjali saundarya aloe vera gel on face - #44412

Ava

I am really trying to figure out how to use patanjali saundarya aloe vera gel on face because my skin's gone kinda crazy lately. Like, I've been dealing with these dry patches and I heard aloe vera’s great for hydration. I've used other products, but nothing really seems to work well – it’s either too heavy or just does nothing. I picked up this gel after seeing some good reviews and I’m excited, but I have NO clue what the best way to use it is. Do I just slap it on? How much should I use? Do I need to mix it with anything? Also, I'm not sure if I should put it on morning or night – does that matter? Sometimes my skin gets super oily after a few hours, but other times it feels like the desert. Ugh!! I just want to even things out. Am I supposed to wash it off after a while or can it stay on? I read somewhere that using aloe daily can help with blemishes but I don’t wanna end up doing something wrong, you know? If anyone can share their experience on how to use patanjali saundarya aloe vera gel on face without messing it up, that would be super helpful! Thanks a lot!

To effectively use Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel on your face, especially amid your concerns with dryness, oiliness, and even blemishes, let’s go through some Ayurvedic recommendations. Begin by using the gel as a moisturizer. After cleansing your face gently with warm water, pat it dry with a clean towel. Ensure skin is slightly damp, as this helps the aloe absorb better. Take a pea-sized amount of the gel on your fingertips. Gently massage it into your skin using upward strokes, as applying it in this manner helps improve circulation and prevents sagging.

The time of application can indeed make a difference; for oily yet dry skin, apply the gel twice a day, once in the morning and again at night. In the morning, it acts as a base to help in retaining the necessary moisture, while at night it helps in repair and rejuvenation as you rest. During varied weather conditions, if you find your skin getting too oily, you may prefer using it at night only.

Aloe vera does not require washing off. It’s best left on the skin to absorb its benefits fully, and this makes it a great overnight treatment. Consistency is key. Overuse may not lead to faster results, and applying just as much as needed is crucial to avoid any build-up, especially in humid conditions.

If your aim is to tackle blemishes, consider adding a pinch of turmeric to the gel before application. However, a word of caution is merited here: turmeric can stain. Try this remedy at night to prevent any temporary staining during the day.

Regular use should help hydrate your skin, balance oil levels, and may gradually aid in reducing blemishes. But remember, Ayurveda teaches us to listen closely to our bodies ‘feedback’. If irritation occurs, you may need to adjust frequency or consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for tailored advice. Make sure to monitor any changes in your skin’s reaction and adapt accordingly.
