Hello I​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ certainly get what you mean. Hair falling along with heavy dandruff is very typical nowadays and is most likely a sign of Vata–Pitta dosha imbalance combined with dry scalp, fungal growth, or poorly nourished scalp.

However, the positive aspect is that, if one is consistent with simple home remedies, one can very well handle such a situation.

Your symptoms speak of:

Dandruff (Darunaka) → dry scalp, flaking, itching Hair fall (Khalitya) → weak hair roots, disturbed scalp circulation

Besides these factors, the following causes can further deteriorate the condition: –Changing seasons –Worry and nervousness –Not washing hair regularly –Warm water on the scalp –Shampoo containing chemical

HOME TREATMENT METHODS (NO CHEMICAL SHAMPOO)

1. Oil Therapy (Most Important Step) Best oils (select only ONE): Durdurpatradi taila Coconut oil + castor oil (2:1 ratio)

Instructions: –Oil with moderate heat –Gently massage your scalp with the oil (don’t scratch) –Let it sit for 30–60 mins (if dandruff is severe, don’t go overnight) –Herbal cleanser washing (below) Oil nourishes roots and loosens dandruff scales.

2. Natural Hair Wash Options (Shampoo Alternatives)

–Option A: Shikakai Powder Take the shikakai powder 1–2 tsp and mix it with warm water Put it on the scalp, do gentle rubbing Rinse with water Very good for dandruff + hair fall

–Option B: Reetha + Shikakai Decoction Boil reetha + shikakai in water After the mixture is cooled, strain it and use it to wash hair It helps to get rid of oil and dandruff in a natural way

3.Anti-Dandruff Home Packs (Weekly) –Neem Pack Neem leaf paste OR neem powder + water Put it on the scalp for 20 minutes Cleaning Eliminates fungal dandruff & itching

🔎 Basic Checks (Optional but Helpful) 1. Check stress and sleep quality 2. Observe diet (excess junk, sugar, or skipping meals worsens dandruff) 3. If severe: check Vitamin D, B12, and iron levels

🥣 Internal Home Remedies Daily (4–6 weeks) 1. Soaked seeds drink (morning) 1 tsp fenugreek (methi) + 1 tsp flaxseed Soak overnight, boil in the same water, drink warm 2. Amla intake 1 fresh amla daily OR 1 tsp amla powder with warm water after breakfast 3. Curry leaves Chew 8–10 fresh leaves daily OR add to food 4. Hydration 2–2.5 liters water/day

Coconut oil + Neem leaves(few) + Hibiscus flowers(10-15) + Fenugreek seeds (20-30) + Onion Juice/shredded onion. Boil it all together for half n hour on slow flame. Apply this oil twice or thrice a week a night before you have a hair wash.

Dandrion Cream Apply on the scalp for half an hour than have a shower

Use 777 shampoo (JK’s Pharma) or G3 Hair shampoo (Abhinav Pharma) whichever is easily available for you.

Panchendriya vardhan Tailam. 2 drops in each nostril early in the morning empty stomach. Make the oil lukewarm.

If you can get a shiro swedan, shiro pichu and shirodhara procedure done at a panchakarma center near you, you may get excellent results.

Start with Amalaki Rasayan 1-0-1 after food with water Mahamanjistadi kadha 10ml. twice daily after food with water Ashwagandha churan 0-0-1tsp at bedtime with warm milk. Apply Gunjadi oil on scalp twice weekly keep overnight and morning wash with herbal anti hairfall shampoo. Donot shampoo your hair every day with hair wash. Just use clean water to wash hair. Use shampoo only twice weekly when oiling is done. Donot expose to direct sunrays wear hat or use umbrella when going out during the day.

Hair fall along with heavy dandruff usually means the scalp is disturbed and the hair roots are not getting proper nourishment. When dandruff stays for long, it blocks the follicles, increases itching, and slowly weakens the roots, which is why hair fall increases. The aim is, to clear dandruff , and strengthen the roots without using harsh chemical shampoos.

You can start with . Oil your scalp two to three times a week using coconut oil or bringaraja oil,If available, crush a few neem leaves in the oil, warm it slightly, and massage gently. Do not scratch the scalp. Leave the oil for at least 30–60 minutes and then wash.

For washing the hair, avoid chemical shampoos. Use herbal like shikakai, reetha, and amla powder mixed with warm water, or besan mixed with curd.do not rub harshly. Once a week, applying curd mixed with aloe vera gel on the scalp for 15–20 minutes will help in reducing dandruff and dryness. After washing, a neem water rinse once a week is very helpful if itching or flakes are more.

Along with home care, you can take Ayurvedic medicines Bhringraj capsules: 1 capsule twice daily after food with warm water. Triphala churna: half to one teaspoon at night with warm water. Amlaki rasayan: 1 tsp twice daily after food.

Maintain good sleep, reduce stress and avoid very spicy, oily, fried, and sugary foods. Drink enough water and include fruits, green vegetables, and nuts in your diet. Avoid very hot water on the scalp and do not wash hair daily if dandruff is severe.

With regular care, improvement usually starts within 3 to 4 weeks. If dandruff is very thick, sticky, or keeps coming back.
