Advice on Using Triphala and Shatavari for Weight Loss and Hormonal Balance - #48010

Client_d3ea53

Hello, I'm struggling with weight gain while coming out of twenty years of leaky gut, cPTSD, fibromyalgia & ME/CFS, stress and burnout. My consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner resulted in me taking 2 teaspoon of Triphala churna every night before bed. As I've also always struggled with my periods throughout my life (I'm 38 now), I was wondering if I could take Triphala in water at night and Shatavari in milk in the morning, to sustain weight loss both from tge point of view of digestion and of hormonal imbalances? If so, how many teaspoons please? And if so, would those times be the correct way to go please? (Kapha-pitta pakriti with long-standing Vata-pitta vikriti) Thank you, Silvia

How long have you been following the current treatment plan with Triphala?:

- 1-3 months

What specific symptoms related to your hormonal imbalances are you experiencing?:

- Irregular periods

How would you describe your current stress levels?:

- Very high, overwhelming
