Hello I get how annoying it is to have digestion problems for 2 years straight, especially when it messes with your stomach, skin, energy, and even how clear your head is. The best thing is, you’ve already fixed your meal times and routine – that’s the biggest first step to feeling better!

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING

Looks like you’ve got Pitta Pradhana Ajeerna (Pitta-type indigestion) going on, which is messing with your Agni.

Main things with Pitta indigestion:

–You’re hungry all the time but can’t digest well –Loads of acidity, feels like burning –Your bowel is loose –Red spots on your face (Pitta showing up on your skin) –Feeling dizzy because you’re not getting the right stuff from food –Eating whenever messes with your digestion, which causes problems that show up on your skin and make you feel off. Bitter Meds to the Rescue

Bitterness chills out Pitta and clears it out

INTERNAL MEDICATION

1.Arogyavardhini Vati 1 tablet, twice a day after your meals

2 Patoladi Kashaya 20 ml, twice a day with the same amount of warm water after food

3. Avipattikar Churna½ tsp before bed with warm water

4.Guduchi (Giloy) Ghan Vati 1 tablet, twice a day

5.Kamdudha Ras 1 tablet, twice a day after food (for acidity and skin)

HOME REMEDIES

Neem leaf juice – 10 ml in the morning (if you can handle it) Giloy juice – 15 ml daily Triphala water at night

DIET PLAN

AVOID Spicy, sour, or fermented foods Tea, coffee, booze Tomato, vinegar, too much citrus Fried and fast food

INCLUDE Rice, moong dal Bottle gourd, pumpkin, ridge gourd Coriander, fennel, cumin Coconut water, buttermilk

LIFESTYLE Eat at the same times every day Don’t skip meals Hit the hay before 11 pm Try Sheetali / Anulom Vilom breathing Don’t think too hard while eating

You can totally get back to normal since this all started with your habits. With these bitter meds, eating right, and chilling out Pitta, your digestion, skin, and how good you feel will slowly get better.

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

Excess Pitta has put off fire & creating ama.Causing loose sticky motion, bloating. Now vata also distributed bcoz of low agni(feeling cold 24/7).Acidity problem downwards causes burning in anus.Red dry scaly rash on cheeks. If I take any cooling medicine(bitter, astringent)for pitta shaman it causes watery motion due to vata.If i take pungent medicine it increases pitta😭.If I take any vata pitta medicine(sweet)it causes sticky motion. What to do my career is ruined.

Hello Sorry for delayed response I get that you’re feeling super drained, lost, and like there’s no hope. But dont worry we can help you out 😊 Let me break it down so you know what’s up and what’s gonna work. What’s Going On (Ayurveda Style) Basically: – Your Pitta’s blocked by Ama (think gunk) + Vata’s all over the place because your Agni (digestive fire) is weak. – That’s called “Ama-pitta avrita Vata” So: – Pitta’s too high but can’t do its job. – Which makes Ama. – Vata’s going the wrong way. – Agni’s all wobbly. – And meds give you side effects. That’s why: When you take Bitter / cooling = Vata goes wild → diarrhea
–Spicy= pitta goes nuts → burning –Sweet / heavy = Ama piles up → sticky poop
– Dry = Dryness → rash, chills
This isn’t in your head, and it’s not a lost cause. It’s a classic case of your metabolism being stuck. Why Stuff Isn’t Working You’re trying to fix Pitta or Vata, but the real problem is Ama messing with your Agni. You need to get rid of the Ama without making things hotter or drier. That means using special herbs that are a little bitter, help digestion, and are also a bit oily. Not just any bitter stuff. The Right Plan We gotta go with: * Something a little bitter + that heals your insides + that makes your digestion steady. Not super cold or hot. Stuff That Won’t Make Things Worse 1. Guduchi Satva: This is key. It gets rid of Ama without adding heat. 👉 500 mg twice a day with warm water. 2. Kutki It’s bitter but not hot. 👉 Just 250 mg once a day before lunch (don’t take more). It’ll clear out the sticky Ama in your gut. 3. Yashtimadhu (Licorice): Protects your insides from burning, rashes, and acid. 👉 ½ tsp twice a day after eating with warm water. 4. Bilva churna: Stops sticky poop without drying you out. 👉 ½ tsp twice a day after eating. DIET PLAN Food’s a big deal now. Only eat: – Rice – Moong dal (split yellow lentils) – Cooked veggies – Ghee – Pomegranate – Buttermilk AVOID – Raw stuff – Fruits – Salads – Iced drinks – Protein powders – Yogurt at night Your digestion’s just stuck, not wrecked. You’re not a weird case; you’re just misunderstood.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR SYMPTOMS IN DETAIL IT IS GOOD THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY CORRECTED YOUR MEAL TIMINGS AND LIFESTYLE THAT IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP AND IT WILL SUPPORT HEALING

FROM AN AYURVEDIC POINT OF VIEW YOUR COMPLAINTS CLEARLY INDICATE PITTA DOMINANT INDIGESTION WITH ASSOCIATED AGNI VISHAMATA DUE TO LONG TERM IRREGULAR MEALS FREQUENT HUNGER ACIDITY LOOSE OR UNFORMED STOOLS BLOATING RED RASH ON CHEEKS AND DIZZINESS ALL POINT TOWARDS EXCESS PITTA WITH WEAK AND IRRITATED DIGESTIVE FIRE RATHER THAN STRONG HEALTHY AGNI

IN SUCH CASES BITTER AND COOLING MEDICINES ARE VERY USEFUL BUT THEY MUST BE GIVEN IN THE RIGHT DOSE OTHERWISE THEY CAN FURTHER WEAKEN DIGESTION

THE FOLLOWING BITTER AYURVEDIC MEDICINES ARE GENERALLY VERY EFFECTIVE FOR PITTA INDIGESTION

AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA HALF TEASPOON ONCE DAILY AT NIGHT WITH LUKEWARM WATER THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CONTROL ACIDITY LOOSE STOOLS AND PITTA OVERFLOW

KAMDUDHA RAS MUKTA YUKT ONE TABLET TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD THIS WILL CALM PITTA REDUCE BURNING ACIDITY DIZZINESS AND SKIN RASH

NEEM GHAN VATI ONE TABLET ONCE DAILY AFTER LUNCH ONLY NOT AT NIGHT THIS ACTS AS A BITTER PITTA SHAMAK AND HELPS IN SKIN AND GUT HEALING

PATOLADI KWATH OR ARAGVADHADI KWATH TEN TO FIFTEEN ML TWICE DAILY BEFORE FOOD WITH EQUAL WATER THESE ARE CLASSICAL BITTER DECOCTIONS FOR PITTA AND GUT INFLAMMATION

IF BLOATING AND GAS ARE ALSO PROMINENT YOU CAN ADD TRIKATU IN VERY SMALL DOSE A PINCH ONCE DAILY ONLY IN THE MORNING TOO MUCH WILL AGGRAVATE PITTA

DIET IS AS IMPORTANT AS MEDICINE CONTINUE REGULAR MEALS AVOID SKIPPING FOOD STRICTLY AVOID SPICY FRIED SOUR FERMENTED FOOD COFFEE TEA ALCOHOL AND BAKERY ITEMS INCLUDE BITTER VEGETABLES LIKE BOTTLE GOURD RIDGE GOURD PUMPKIN AND GREENS BUT WELL COOKED

DRINK SMALL SIPS OF WARM WATER THROUGH THE DAY DO NOT DRINK LARGE QUANTITIES AT ONCE

RED RASH ON CHEEKS INDICATES PITTA EXITING THROUGH SKIN SO AS DIGESTION IMPROVES SKIN WILL ALSO CLEAR GRADUALLY

FOLLOW THIS REGULARLY FOR FOUR TO SIX WEEKS AND YOU SHOULD NOTICE IMPROVEMENT IN STOOL FORM ACIDITY HUNGER BALANCE AND SKIN IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST OR WORSEN THEN FURTHER INVESTIGATION LIKE STOOL TEST OR BLOOD WORK MAY BE NEEDED

BE PATIENT PITTA INDIGESTION TAKES TIME BUT WITH CORRECT TIMING DIET AND BITTER MEDICINES IT IS VERY WELL REVERSIBLE

Your symptoms—loose stools, bloating, frequent hunger, acidity, rash, dizziness—fit well with Pitta imbalance in digestion (Amlapitta / Pachaka Pitta dushti). Since you’ve already corrected your meal timings and lifestyle, that’s an excellent foundation. Ayurveda often emphasizes tikta (bitter), kashaya (astringent), and madhura (sweet) rasa to pacify aggravated Pitta.

🌿 Bitter & Cooling Ayurvedic Remedies

1. Patola Katurohinyadi Kashaya - Purpose: Classical bitter decoction for Pitta disorders, especially indigestion, skin rashes, and acidity. - Traditional use: 15–20 ml with equal water, twice daily after meals. - Anupana: Warm water.

2. Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) - Purpose: Bitter tonic, reduces acidity, strengthens digestion, supports immunity. - Traditional use: 3–6 g powder with lukewarm water. - Anupana: Honey or warm water.

3. Patola (Trichosanthes dioica) + Neem (Azadirachta indica) - Purpose: Strong bitter herbs for skin rash, acidity, and Pitta heat. - Traditional use: Decoction or churnas in small doses. - Anupana: Rice water or lukewarm water.

4. Avipattikar Churna - Purpose: Classical formula for hyperacidity, bloating, and indigestion. - Traditional use: 3–5 g with lukewarm water before meals. - Anupana: Warm water.

5. Arogyavardhini Vati - Purpose: Bitter-herbal formulation for liver, digestion, and skin. - Traditional use: 1–2 tablets twice daily. - Anupana: Warm water or honey.

🍃 Supportive Diet & Lifestyle - Diet: Favor cooling foods—barley, rice, moong dal, pomegranate, amla, cucumber. Avoid chili, fried, sour, and fermented foods. - Routine: Maintain regular meals, avoid skipping. - Hydration: Sip warm water; avoid excess tea/coffee. - Yoga/Pranayama: Sheetali and Sheetkari pranayama help cool Pitta. Gentle asanas like Pawanmuktasana aid digestion.

HELLO,

You have been suffering from digestive issues for about 2 years, mainly due to irregular meal timings in the past. Even though your diet timing is now corrected, the digestive fire (Agni) has become disturbed and needs systematic correction.

Ayurvedic Explanation of Your Problem 1) What went wrong inside the body?

In Ayurveda, digestion is governed by Agni (digestive fire).
Because of irregular eating: -Sometimes Agni became too sharp (Tikshna Agni) -Sometimes it became weak and irregular (Vishama Agni) This mainly aggravated Pitta dosha, especially in the stomach, intestines, blood and skin.

2. How this created your symptoms Frequent hunger=Pitta is sharp → digestion happens too fast Acidity= Excess heat and acid (Pitta vriddhi) Unformed stools=Intestines lose holding capacity → Grahani dushti Bloating=Improper digestion → gas formation Red rash on cheeks= Heated blood (Rakta + Pitta) Dizziness=Excess Pitta + mild dehydration + weak nourishment

So this condition can be understood as: Pitta-pradhana Ajeerna with early Grahani and Rakta dushti

Treatment Goals -Normalize digestive fire (Agni Deepana without overheating) -Pacify excess Pitta -Strengthen intestines (Grahani) -Clean heat and toxins from blood -Prevent recurrence

Internal Medicines

1. Avipattikar Churna= 1 tsp at bedtime with lukewarm water for 6–8 week =Neutralizes excess acid,Cools Pitta,Improves bowel formation, Prevents burning and sour belching This is a core medicine for Pitta indigestion.

2. Arogyavardhini Vati= 1 tablet twice daily after meals for 4–6 weeks =Corrects digestion at liver–gut level,Removes internal heat, Improves skin symptoms, Supports metabolism Useful when skin + digestion both are affected.

3. Guduchi Satva =500 mg twice dailyfor 6–8 weeks =Best herb to calm Pitta,Cools blood, Improves digestion gently, Reduces dizziness and fatigue

4. Kutki =250 mg once daily after lunch for 3–4 weeks only =Strong bitter herb, Detoxifies liver, Removes deep-seated Pitta Stop if stools become too loose.

External Management

1. Cooling for Skin -Apply pure aloe vera gel or rose water on cheeks once daily -Avoid chemical creams

2. Abhyanga (Oil Massage) -Use coconut oil or Ksheerabala taila -2–3 times per week -Reduces internal heat and calms nervous system

Diet -Rice, wheat -Moong dal -Lauki, tori, pumpkin, ridge gourd -Pomegranate, apple, pear -Homemade buttermilk (thin, spiced mildly) -Small quantity of cow ghee

Avoid -Tea, coffee -Fried, oily, spicy food -Bakery, biscuits -Pickles, vinegar -Excess tomato, chilli -Alcohol (strictly avoid)

Home Remedies 1. Coriander–Fennel Water -Soak 1 tsp coriander + 1 tsp fennel overnight -Boil in morning -Sip during day = Reduces acidity, bloating, dizziness

2. Pomegranate Juice -Fresh, unsweetened -50–100 ml once daily = Strengthens intestines & cools Pitta

Asanas (After digestion, not empty stomach) -Vajrasana (after meals – 10 min) -Pawanmuktasana -Bhujangasana -Shashankasana

Pranayama -Sheetali / Sheetkari – 5 rounds -Nadi Shodhana – 10 rounds -Avoid Kapalbhati initially

Lifestyle Advice (Very Important) -Eat only when hungry -No late-night meals -Avoid stress while eating -No lying down immediately after meals -Maintain consistent sleep timing -Avoid excess heat exposure

Expected Healing Timeline -2 weeks: Acidity & bloating reduce -4 weeks: Stool consistency improves -6–8 weeks: Skin redness & dizziness reduce -3 months: Stable digestion if diet followed

This is a functional digestive disorder, not a permanent disease.
Ayurveda focuses on correcting root cause, not suppressing symptoms. With: -Proper medicines -Strict diet -Calm lifestyle Complete recovery is very much possible

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

DR. MAITRI ACHARYA
