Doctors' responses

Diagnosis (Ayurvedic): Ama formation, Pitta aggravation, low digestive fire (Agni Mandya), irregular bowel, skin problems due to Ama-Pitta.

Medicine & Dosage Amalaki (Amla) Powder – ½ to 1 teaspoon in the morning on an empty stomach with warm water. Purpose: Cools Pitta, supports digestion.

Trikatu Powder – ¼ teaspoon before meals with warm water. Purpose: Stimulates digestion, digests Ama. Note: Take only if no burning sensation.

Triphala Powder – 1 teaspoon at night with warm water. Purpose: Gentle bowel regulation, removes Ama.

Neem Powder – ½ teaspoon once daily (morning or evening) with warm water. Purpose: Detoxifies blood, supports skin health.

External Care Apply coconut oil or sandalwood oil on affected skin once daily. Purpose: Cooling, soothing, reduces Pitta in skin.

Diet & Lifestyle Eat warm, light, cooked foods (khichdi, dal, soups, steamed vegetables). Avoid fried, oily, very spicy, sour, or cold foods and drinks. Drink warm water throughout the day. Practice gentle yoga and cooling pranayama (Shitali, Sitkari). Maintain regular sleep, avoid stress and heat exposure.

Follow-Up Reassess after 2–3 weeks for bowel regularity and skin improvement. If symptoms persist, therapeutic cleansing (Virechana) may be considered under supervision.

Instructions: Take all powders with warm water. Stop Trikatu if you feel burning in stomach. Start with small doses if sensitive and increase gradually.
