Postpartum Rectal Pain and Swelling Concerns - #48920

I gave birth in 2013 and afterwards I developed a swelling in my anus. Sometimes it was itchy and painful. In 2016 I gave birth anda few hours I had severe pain in my rectum. Since that time I experience the same pain though not frequently. What could be problem

It sounds like you may have hemorrhoids or an anal fissure, which are common after childbirth, especially with constipation. These can cause swelling, itching, and intermittent pain.
