Shilajit (or Shilajit Bhasma) is a classical Ayurvedic Rasayana, but it is not the primary medicine for dissolving kidney stones. Ayurveda uses Pashanabheda (Bergenia ligulata), Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris), and Varunadi Kwath for urinary stones. WARM REGARDS DR. ANJALI SEHRAWAT

Shilajit Bhasma is NOT recommended as a primary or standalone treatment for kidney stones. It is heating and can sometimes aggravate stone formation or pain (especially oxalate/uric acid stones) if used incorrectly or in high dose. ✓It can be used in Very small dose (62.5–125 mg/day) only if stones are small (<5 mm), no active pain/infection, and urologist approves Best for general strength/energy, not for dissolving/expelling stones ✓Better & Safer Ayurvedic Prescription Chandraprabha Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after food Gokshuradi Guggulu – 2 tablets twice daily after food Varunadi Kashayam – 15 ml + 45 ml warm water morning empty stomach Punarnavadi Mandoor – 250 mg twice daily after food ✓Daily Routine Drink 3–4 L warm water sip-by-sip (add lemon if tolerated) Barley water – boil 2 tsp barley in 1 L water → drink 2–3 glasses daily Warm sitz bath – 15 min evening ✓Diet Eat: moong khichdi + ghee, pomegranate, cucumber (peeled), cooked lauki Avoid: spinach, tomato, brinjal, beans, salt excess, cold drinks, non-veg ✓Repeat ultrasound after 6–8 weeks Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Hello So, you’ve had kidney stones for a while now, like over half a year, and that lower back pain sounds like a real drag – pretty normal when those stones are messing with your flow. You’re wondering if Shilajit Bhasma can help bust them up and get rid of them without causing problems, right? AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING Okay, so in Ayurveda, they call kidney stones Ashmari. Basically, here’s what’s up: – Something blocks your pee pipes which causes issues. – Then, stuff heats up, and tiny bits in your pee turn into crystals. – Plus, if you’re not drinking enough water, your pee gets too strong, making things worse. That’s how stones form and cause pain. Now, Shilajit Bhasma is supposed to be a good medicine for breaking up those Ashmari and making your urine flow better. Here’s the plan: – Get rid of the stones – Make you urine more – Clear out any blockages – Stop the pain – Keep new stones from forming AYURVEDIC PLAN INTERNAL MEDICATION 1. Shilajit Bhasma: Just a tiny pinch (125 mg) two times a day. Mix it with some Gokshura tea or just warm water. Best to take it after you eat. 2. Varunadi Kashaya 20 ml, two times a day. 3. Chandraprabha Vati: Two tablets two times a day. EXTERNAL CARE: – Put a hot water bag on your lower back. – Take it easy and go for a walk. HOME REMEDIES – Drink barley water. – Sip on coconut water. – Add lemon to your water. – Have some Kulthi dal soup. What to eat:INCLUDE Rice, bottle gourd, pumpkin, cucumber, moong dal ❌ AVOID: Tomato, spinach, tea, coffee, too much salt Other things to do: – Drink plenty of water – like 3–4 liters a day. – Don’t hold your urine! – Go for a walk every day. – Don’t get dehydrated. Shilajit Bhasma can be helpful for kidney stones if you use it the right way. Usually, you should see the stones start to dissolve and the pain ease up in about 6–8 weeks. Hope you feel better soon! Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate
