Doctors' responses

🌙 Frequent urination at night 💧 Excessive thirst 🔥 Feeling of internal heat (“liver heat”) ⚖️ Low body weight / not gaining 😴 Difficulty sleeping This combination is NOT just simple “liver pitta.” 🚨 Most Important: Rule Out Medical Causes First These symptoms strongly suggest we must check for: 1️⃣ Diabetes (Very Important to Test) Classic signs: Frequent urination Excess thirst Increased appetite Weight loss or difficulty gaining Night waking 👉 Please get: Fasting Blood Sugar HbA1c Post-meal sugar Urine routine Do not ignore this step. 2️⃣ Thyroid Overactivity (Hyperthyroid) Can cause: Heat intolerance Weight not increasing Restless sleep Increased urination 👉 Test: TSH Free T3, Free T4 3️⃣ Kidney Function (Important in Your Case) You previously mentioned creatinine was elevated. Frequent urination + thirst makes kidney check important. 👉 Test: Serum creatinine Urea Electrolytes 🌿 Ayurvedic View Yes, there is: Pitta aggravation (heat, thirst) Vata aggravation (night waking, weight loss) Possible Prameha tendency But Ayurveda never ignores metabolic screening. Calling it only “liver heat” is incomplete and risky. 🌙 Why Night Urination Happens At night if: Blood sugar fluctuates Stress hormones increase Vata is aggravated You wake at 3–5 AM, feel thirsty/hungry, urinate, and mind becomes active. This is a metabolic pattern. 🌿 Until Tests Are Done Do this gently: Early light dinner (before 8 pm) Add protein in dinner (moong dal, paneer, soaked almonds) Avoid sugar & refined carbs Avoid spicy, fried, very salty food Do not overuse neem or strong detox herbs Practice 10 minutes slow breathing before bed
