Namaste, Your symptoms — difficulty in emptying the bladder with passing only a few drops, along with kidney congestion — indicate obstruction or reduced bladder emptying capacity, often associated with vata imbalance affecting the urinary system. The focus should be on improving urine flow, reducing obstruction, and supporting kidney–bladder function. Avoid holding urine for long periods. Maintain adequate hydration (around 2–2.5 liters daily unless restricted). Prefer warm water over cold. Avoid very salty, spicy, and processed foods. Reduce caffeine and alcohol if applicable. Gentle walking and a regular routine can support urinary function. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Chandraprabha Vati – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Gokshuradi Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Varunadi Kashayam – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily before food These are traditionally used to support urinary flow, reduce obstruction, and improve kidney–bladder function when combined with proper care. Since this issue has been present for more than a year, evaluation for prostate enlargement or urinary obstruction is also important along with treatment. With consistent care, improvement can be seen gradually over a few weeks. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
