Addressing My Mother's Inflammation Issues - #52351
Doctor, I am writing for my mother Mrs. Chhanda Samaddar , 76 years. She has been an inherent inflammation issue. In Ayurveda, is there a way to address that? In her recent reports, her leukocyte esterase came positive, though her urine exam and blood exam ruled out any bacterial infection and active hepatitis infection. IgM negative/non-reactive for all the variants of hepatitis. However, she experiences urine issue. She feels her urine is not getting cleared totally. It's less than adequate urination. But, she didn't have any burning sensation during urination. Neither she has any fever. Her glomeruler filtration rate is suboptimal as the blood test revealed. As a patient history, in 1973/74, she was paralyzed with rheumatoid arthritis for 2 months, however recovered from there and had a home based active life. She has been a high blood pressure since then. Presently she takes Olmezest H 40 and Espin 2.5 in the morning and evening respectively to take care of her blood pressure. However, she doesn't have any diabetes or pre-diabetes symptoms. Blood test ruled out this possibility. From year 2000, she got cerebral attack twice, had blood clot near memory region (now melted away with clopigrail medication for over 20 years, recent MRI taken last year revealed). In 2013, she got brain vasculitis, was admitted in hospital. She also has macula degeneration and her vision has been dropped significantly. Now, she gets injected at her macula in every 2 to 3 months. She has gastritis, GERD, and hiatus hernia. Can't take any form of pain killer. Please advise if there's a way to reduce her internal inflammation. Please know, she can't take any ghee or butter. Once she had drug induced liver fibrosis stage 4, which we reversed completely. Now, she has slight elevation in SGOT , but other liver enzymes, proteins, and AG ratio is normal.
