Waking multiple times at night to pass urine is usually related to bladder irritation, prostate changes (age-related), or imbalance in fluid regulation in the body. Even if fluid intake is controlled, the body may still produce more urine at night due to these factors. Try to keep a consistent sleep routine and avoid very late dinners. Reduce salty and heavy foods at night, as they can increase night-time urine formation. Empty your bladder properly before going to bed without rushing. Since you are already elevating your legs, continue that, as it helps fluid redistribution. Also avoid caffeine after afternoon hours. At home, you can take a pinch of ajwain with warm water at night, which helps in regulating bladder function. Gentle pelvic floor exercises can also help improve bladder control over time. Chandraprabha vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Gokshuradi guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Varunadi kwath – 15 ml with equal water twice daily This can help in improving urinary control and reducing frequency gradually. If this persists, evaluation for prostate health and urine examination will help in identifying the exact cause and guiding treatment. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
