What to do Ayurvedically if I lost my taste buds suddenly 4 days ago? - #54493
I have lost my taste buds what can I do Ayurvedically. This happened 4 days ago for no apparent reason. I am scraping my tongue, doing oil pulling, drinking ccf tea. Went back to being a vegetarian. What else should I do?

this is likely due to mild kapha blockage and ama affecting the taste channels (rasa vaha srotas), leading to reduced taste perception. –Assessment Kapha + mild Ama avarana in Rasa vaha srotas with slight Prana vata involvement 1. Aushadhi Trikatu Churna – 1 pinch with honey, BD before meals Amalaki Churna – ½ tsp with lukewarm water, BD after meals Guduchi Satva – 500 mg, BD —Ahara (Diet): Light, warm, freshly cooked vegetarian food Add ginger, black pepper, cumin Use lemon in meals Avoid cold, heavy, oily, and sweet foods ----Vihara (Lifestyle): -----Jihva nirlekhana (tongue scraping) – once daily Gandusha/Kavala (oil pulling with sesame oil) – 5–10 min -----Nasya – Anu Taila, 2 drops in each nostril, morning (empty stomach) Sip warm CCF tea through the day - Pathya-Apathya: ✔ Warm water, light diet ✘ Cold drinks, curd at night, fried food -Follow-up: Review after 7 days
Thank you for your response to my concern. I am doing everything but the churns. I ate meat and I think that caused the lost of taste buds. I am back being a vegetarian in which I have been for 60 years. I am also taking Avipattikar 15 mins before meals. Blessing to you for bringing Ayurveda to the masses. I just wanted another opinion and appreciate your input. 🙏
