A “balanced diet” doesn’t always mean “enough calories. –From an Ayurveda point of view, inability to gain healthy weight despite normal reports is usually due to low Agni (digestive fire) and excess Vata imbalance. -When Vata is high (due to stress, irregular meals, overactivity), the body: -Digests food incompletely -Absorbs less nutrition -Increases “lightness” in the body ----So even if food intake seems adequate, Dhatu (body tissue) nourishment does not happen properly. —Prescription 1. Medicines - Ashwagandhadi lehyam 1 tsf twice daily with warm milk after food -Shatavari Capsules 1 cap twice daily with milk -Chyawanprash 1 tsp in morning - SYP livomyn 2 tsf twice daily after meal with equal amount of water 2) — Pathya (Diet Advice) Fixed meal timings, avoid skipping meals Milk, ghee, rice, wheat, bananas, dates, dry fruits Warm, freshly prepared, nourishing food 3)----Lifestyle Advice Adequate sleep (before 10:30–11 pm) Stress reduction practices (breathing / meditation) Light to moderate exercise only Abhyanga (oil massage with sesame oil) 3–4 times/week 4) ----Apathya (Avoid) Irregular eating habits Excess fasting, dry/cold foods Overexertion and mental stress —Follow-up After 15–20 days for reassessment of Agni, appetite, and weight gain progress.

all your blood tests are normal, then the difficulty in gaining healthy weight is often related to high metabolism, stress, irregular eating habits, poor nutrient absorption, excessive physical activity, or weak digestion (Mandagni/Vata imbalance in Ayurveda) rather than a major disease. In Ayurveda, excessive stress and overthinking gradually weaken tissue nourishment (Dhatu Kshaya), so even if you eat well, the body may not properly absorb and convert nutrition into healthy weight and muscle.
