●Asparagus + Conch Shell Ash (Shishkha Bhasma) Method of Consumption Asparagus Powder - 1 teaspoon • Conch Shell Ash - Take a pinch of both together with a little lukewarm water twice a day. Consuming this for about 2 weeks can help calm acidity and bile. ●Licorice + Mishri (Roller Sugar) Consumption Method • Licorice Powder - 1 teaspoon • Reduces stomach irritation • Mishri Powder - 1/2 teaspoon. Mix the two together and take them with lukewarm milk or water 1-2 times a day. This combination is believed to help • Relieve acidity • Soothe the throat and digestion ●Simple rules to reduce acidity • Eat meals on time. Limit spicy and fried foods. • Don’t lie down immediately after meals. • Drink plenty of water throughout the day. • Keep dinner light. Even small rules contribute greatly to balancing pitta. ●Eat kidney beans/chickpeas/lentils with tomato or lemon salad. Eat amla or orange with soaked chickpeas in the morning. Cooking in an iron pan. ●Liver and Skin Both science and Ayurveda believe that skin is a mirror of the liver. Raisins: • Improves liver function • Helps eliminate toxins • Purifies the blood. The result: natural, lasting skin ●Figs are high in iron and copper. Milk is rich in vitamin B12 and protein. This combination helps relieve fatigue, and weakness.
