The combination of low body weight, meal irregularity history, chronic rhinitis, and altered hair texture suggests that nutritional restoration and correction of Vata-Pitta imbalance are essential. Hair fall may improve within 3–6 months, while recovery of hair quality and density usually takes longer (6–12 months). A detailed assessment of digestion (Agni), sleep, menstrual history, stress levels, and current medications would help individualize the Ayurvedic prescription. ----Rx: 1) Tab. Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tab BD after meals. 2) Cap. Bhringaraj – 1 cap BD after meals. 3) Syr. Draksharishta – 15 ml + equal water BD after meals. 4) Anu Taila Nasya – 2 drops in each nostril morning after face wash. 5) Neelibhringadi Taila – scalp application 2–3 times/week, keep for 1–2 hrs before wash. ----Pathya: Regular meals; avoid skipping food. Include ghee, soaked almonds, black raisins, dates, milk (if suitable). Adequate protein intake and proper sleep. This case looks like a combined Kapha–Pitta imbalance with Vata depletion (dhatu kshaya)—reflected as oily seborrheic scalp, hair thinning, dryness/frizz, low BMI, and long-standing allergic rhinitis. In Ayurveda, this is not just a scalp problem; it is a whole-body nutrition + immunity + nasal channel (pranavaha srotas) disturbance. Core Ayurvedic Understanding Oily scalp + dandruff (Seb derm) → excess Kapha + Pitta in scalp Hair fall + dry, weak hair → Rasa & Asthi dhatu depletion (Vata increase) Nasal allergy, morning sneezing, watery discharge → Pratishyaya (Kapha-Vata imbalance) Low BMI (40 kg) → weak digestion (Agni mandya) + poor tissue nourishment So treatment must focus on 3 pillars: Deep nourishment (Brimhana) Detox + scalp balance (Shodhana) Allergy control + nasal healing Ayurvedic Management Plan 1) Internal Healing Build weight, strength, and hair roots from inside. Morning Warm water + 1 tsp Amla powder (or Amla juice diluted) OR Chyawanprash 1–2 tsp daily Diet (very important for BMI & hair) Increase: milk, ghee, rice, dal, banana, dates, almonds, sesame Add: cow milk + turmeric at night Protein: moong dal, paneer, curd (if suitable) Avoid: junk food, cold drinks, excessive tea/coffee, fasting/skipping meals Key rule: No meal skipping again — it directly worsens hair loss in Ayurveda 2) Rx Bhringraj – best for hair fall & follicle strength Amla – cooling, reduces scalp inflammation Ashwagandha – improves weight, stress hair fall Triphala – gut cleansing, improves absorption Yashtimadhu (licorice) – helps nasal allergy & inflammation These work best when digestion improves. 3) Scalp Therapy (Kapha-Pitta balance) Oil massage (2–3 times/week) Neelibringadi Tailam or Bhringraj oil Warm slightly and massage gently for 10–15 min Hair wash Mild herbal shampoo or reetha + shikakai Avoid harsh chemical shampoos (they worsen dryness + frizz) For seborrheic oily scalp Apply paste of multani mitti + neem water (once weekly) Helps reduce excess oil and dandruff naturally 4) Nasal Allergy Treatment Daily Nasya (morning) 2 drops Anu Taila in each nostril Do after warm steam inhalation Steam therapy Inhale steam with ajwain or tulsi leaves 3–4 times/week Herbal support Sitopaladi churna + honey (small dose) for allergy tendency 5) Lifestyle Correction (Break the root cause) Sleep on time (hair regrowth depends on this) Avoid late night screen exposure Regular sunlight exposure (Vitamin D support) Gentle yoga: pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari)
