Can you tell me if I can take Kayan Ayurveda tablets with my Venlafaxine 300 and maprotiline 50 daily in take? Because I needed to use Kayan Tablets. Is there any interaction between them? Thanks for help🙏🏻

You may take Ayurvedic medicines along with your antidepressant, but only after reviewing the ingredients. Do not stop or reduce your prescribed SNRI. Ayurvedic treatment for depression is usually given as a supportive therapy with appropriate herbs, diet, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle measures. Please share the medicine ingredients for a proper assessment of safety and suitability. —Rx: 1) Tab. Manasmitra Vatakam – 1 tab BD after food 2) Cap. Ashwagandha 500 mg – 1 cap HS with warm milk/water 3) Saraswatarishta – 15 ml + equal water BD after food —Advice: Continue prescribed antidepressant; do not stop suddenly. Regular sleep, pranayama, meditation, and daily walking. Avoid excess caffeine, alcohol, and late-night waking.
