For a 65-year-old male with Grade 1 Fatty Liver, occasional migraine, and acidity that worsens when you stay hungry, Ayurveda would focus on improving digestion (Agni), reducing liver fat accumulation, and balancing Pitta. ----Medicines 1) Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after meals. 2) Bhumyamalaki Churna – 3 g twice daily with lukewarm water. 3) Avipattikar Churna – 3 g at bedtime for acidity and Pitta balance. -----Diet - Eat meals on time; avoid long gaps between meals. -include green vegetables, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, bitter gourd, whole grains, and fruits. - Drink warm water through the day. -Take small healthy snacks if hunger triggers acidity (roasted chana, fruit, soaked almonds). ----- Avoid: Fried foods, bakery items, sweets, excess sugar. Alcohol and smoking. Excess tea, coffee, spicy and sour foods. Late-night dinners. Lifestyle Walk 30–45 minutes daily. Maintain regular sleep (7–8 hours). Practice gentle yoga and pranayama (Anulom-Vilom, Bhramari). Avoid daytime sleeping and overeating. -----For Migraine Ensure adequate hydration. Avoid skipping meals. Identify triggers (stress, lack of sleep, certain foods). Nasya with 2 drops anu taila in each nostril at morning ------Important Grade 1 fatty liver is often reversible with diet, exercise, and weight control. Since you are 65, regular monitoring of liver function tests, blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure is advisable. If migraines become frequent, severe, or are associated with vision changes or weakness, seek medical evaluation promptly.
