I am currently taking Saraswatarishta syrup twice daily to manage dizziness. I was also taking Sarivadi Vati, but I discontinued it because it seemed to worsen my dizziness. Additionally, I take Hingvastak Churna to treat gas and constipation but my bloating and costipation is still prevalent. My dizziness remains prevalent and is noticeably aggravated by stress and strenuous physical activity

Based on the information provided, your symptoms of chronic dizziness (>6 months), bloating, constipation, fatigue, and worsening of dizziness with stress and physical exertion suggest a predominance of Vata imbalance, possibly associated with weakened digestive fire (Mandagni), accumulation of Ama (metabolic toxins), and mental stress. Since your symptoms persist despite current remedies, a more comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan is advisable. Ayurvedic Understanding Dizziness (Bhrama) In Ayurveda, chronic dizziness (Bhrama) may result from: Aggravated Vata dosha. Mental stress, anxiety, and overexertion. Poor nourishment of body tissues (Dhatu Kshaya). Disturbed sleep. Underlying conditions such as anemia, low blood pressure, thyroid imbalance, or nutritional deficiencies. find the exact cause of your dizziness, you need to identify whether it is coming from: 1. Physical causes (must rule out first) Do basic tests: Hemoglobin (anemia) TSH (thyroid) Vitamin B12 / D Blood pressure (especially standing BP) 2. Pattern of dizziness Observe: On standing → BP issue With stress → Vata (nervous system) With bloating/constipation → digestive Ama Morning fatigue → deficiency/thyroid 3. Since your blood tests and blood pressure have been largely normal, serious deficiency-related causes become less likely. However, dizziness can still occur due to several reasons that may not show up on routine blood work. From both a modern and Ayurvedic perspective, consider the following: If dizziness worsens with head movement, turning in bed, or looking up/down, an inner ear problem (such as vertigo) should be ruled out by an ENT specialist. If it occurs during stress, anxiety, overthinking, or mental exhaustion, nervous system involvement becomes more likely. If you also have bloating, gas, constipation, irregular meals, or poor digestion, Ayurveda would consider Vata aggravation and impaired digestion (Mandagni/Ama) as contributing factors. Poor sleep, dehydration, excessive screen time, and neck muscle stiffness can also cause persistent dizziness despite normal blood tests. You may continue Saraswatarishta if you are noticing some benefit. For additional Ayurvedic support, medicines are selected based on the pattern of symptoms rather than dizziness alone. Commonly used options include: Saraswatarishta after meals. Brahmi-based preparations for stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue. Sutshekhar Ras (when acidity, heaviness, or headache is associated). Ashwagandha preparations (if weakness, fatigue, or stress are prominent).
