I have been trying to fix ongoing digestive issues for a while now… My understanding is that from a digestive compatibility perspective, we should not be combining starch foods, such as sweet potatoes, rice, or quinoa with meat, such as beef, lamb, elk, salmon, or chicken. But are there any combinations of carbohydrate foods that can be safely paired with those types of protein options that are compatible for optimal digestion?
