Doctors' responses
Peptic stricture + hiatal hernia are structural problems. Ayurveda can support healing and reduce acid, but cannot cure or open a stricture. Diagnosis (Ayurveda): Amlapitta with Vata-Pitta dushti (Annavaha srotas) Medicines: Yashtimadhu Churna – ½ tsp → with warm milk, BD after food Shatavari Churna – ½ tsp → with warm water, BD Guduchi Satva – 250 mg → BD before food Kamadudha Ras (Mukta Yukta) – 1 tab → BD after food Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp → HS with warm water (if constipation/acidity present) Pathya (Diet): Soft, warm, semi-liquid food Rice gruel, porridge, cooked vegetables Small frequent meals Apathya (Avoid): Spicy, sour, fried food Coffee, alcohol Late-night meals Lifestyle Advice: Head-end elevation during sleep No lying down for 3 hrs post-meal
